some other sites i visit have a 'fresh news' and or 'oddball' news from around the globe.

it's mostly stuff that wouldn't belong in max's non (r.i.p. friend) or the frontline.

surprisingly, these forum sections are where the most intelligent and least flamey comments are, in my experience.

thinking out loud, whaddya all think? (i can't think; i'm dancin...)

Maybe yeah. Perhaps a few too many stickies though? It does seem a bit like Maxs forum is where everything goes which can overload it at times.

We have news forums....

Political news is in the Front Line. Van HALEN news (infrequent though it is) is in Main. Sports & other music news are in their relevant forums. Any other type of news is in "Non".

I'd say we had the news covered. And probably better coverage than most US television networks, for that matter.

now that i've thought about it, yeah. this joint has everything already.

and some other places i frequent have less than 10% of the membership of our club, more euro/oz centric though.
