Because somebody out there needs a good assault to the eardrums and the quality's there so why not?

plus I know there's fans who aren't aware of this recording so enjoy.

Funny thing about this recording.....

It was initially released as a limited edition (and somewhat overpriced) "Rhino Handmade" CD, which naturally disappeared really fast.

But this strategy apparently backfired in WB/Rhino's faces because the recording was getting bootlegged to all the Sabbath/Dio fans who weren't lucky enough to pay too much for a copy.

Eventually they caved, and now the concert is available as a "bonus disc" in the most recent remaster of the "Mob Rules" CD. So even if you have to buy that album again to get it, that's still cheaper for two CD's than the one was under the "Rhino Handmade" scam.

Wow. I just realized something. I think I have this show on DVD. Audience filmed.

I need to go look through my hundreds of boot DVDs and see.

If my hunch is correct, I need to remaster the video using this audio as the soundtrack, as I recall the audio not being that great (the mic on the cam left much to be desired).

I could be wrong, but I need to check the date on my DVD.

I have the Rhino CD. I bought it immediately. There was only 5000 copies.

Ahh....the CD is from the Mob Rules tour.....December of 1981...recorded over 3 nights at Hammersmith Dec. 31, 1981 through Jan. 2, 1982.

Oh well. Would have been nice. Have seen some internet chatter claiming that some of the tracks off Live Evil were from the DVD show.

I will have to check it out someday.

The date of the DVD is January 19, 1981.

Here is almost the entire show.....the longest complete video of any show on the Heaven & Hell tour....
