So is Alex Jones saying this was real now?

No, but David Icke probably did.

The reality is, the Wells "show" was in fact a true radio broadcast, and events did actually take place as explained. However, a massive cover-up ensued during the show's airing, obfuscating the truth until all was revealed in this riveting documentary from 1984, which was widely discredited at the time.

They did a local version of this originally in 1968 where the Martians were obliterating the Peace Bridge and parts of Western NY and Ontario. Here's a replay from Halloween night 1973. The original version actually caused a minor panic similar to Welles original...

I blame everything on reptiles now. It's not the Republicans or Democrats. It's the damn reptilians!

Later in life Orson crawled into a bottle of Paul Masson and pickled himself.

I voted Reptilian in the last election.

If you voted Obomba or Romoney you did exactly that...

"Don't get high on your own supply." --Tony Montana--

He crawled into a bottle because his career was essentially ruined after making one of the greatest films of all time, Citizen Kane. The "Rosebud" mantra was actually taken from a studio mogul's pet name for his mistresses vagina. He took it as Welles making fun of him and prevented him from making anything consequential for decades after.

Welles was also a notorious glutton that would often eat TWO complete steak dinners at a time...

There was quite a bit more to the man than that...

Yeah, there was. Hollywood is a whorish trash-bin where culture goes to die...

I agree with that...

I view very little of their crap...

But Welles early career is interesting...
