He Stopped Fucking Her...Today.....

Yeah this is serious shit down here. John Cash died just before I moved here, and my friends say it was as if the President had died......

Lotta crying going on for cuntry music folks down here today. Friend of mine is friends with his manager.

At least he had a very long life and entertained millions. Rest In Peace, Mr. Jones.

He was the REAL deal. The REAL Country music. Not this bullshit they pass off as cuntry-tinged pop music.

Motherfuckers.

Country Music fans knew the deal. Country Radio has been dead for well over 20 years. Johnny Cash was right to tell Cuntry Radio to go fuck themselves in the mid-90s:

Mike Malloy's talking to Willie Nelson on his show tonight. He asked Willie about George, and Willie said that he loved George as a singer, because "you always thought he meant every word of it".

Willie also said (of himself) that he believed singing is what keeps him going at his age, so maybe that's what kept George going as long as he did, despite his well known substance issues.

Lucky enough to see George about 5 years ago. Good show...but he'd definitely seen better days. Still, very sad to hear of his passing.

Ain't many originals left. Probably just the Hag - who's also worthy of all praise showered on him.

Heard this gem on Hillybilly Jim's Moonshine Matinee today:
