Hair removal

This is a very serious subject, cause doing it wrong can lead to bruising and infection.

Do you prefer shaving, waxing, tweezing or depilitories? And then please discuss what body parts to use which type of hair removal on.

I personally hate when you use wax on your pubes and they pull it out and all those gross roots with transparent goop on them can be seen on the fabric strips. I always make sure they let me see them too.

I have hair on the edges of my ear lobes. Started in my mid 20's as a very fine hair and they were easy to just grasp & yank em out without any pain. Now when I shave the face I give a quick swipe to the edge of each lobe. But they are stubbly. I'd love to wax them but the skin is so tender there that I'm afraid a ton of earlobe would yank off with the hairs. (hairs are much more sturdy now then they were 15+ years ago. Roots like an oak tree!)

But the hair that bothers me the most is nostril hairs. I bought a shaver thing once and it was awful. It left clippings inside the nostril and also left a sharp stubble in the nose that hurt & poked anytime I touched my nose. So now I use tweezers to grasp & yank any long ones I can see dangling. It stings for an instance but gets them out good. Nothing worse than a long rebel nose hair tickling your brain all day.

As for eyebrow hairs, I use my finger to brush my eyebrow against the grain. Then any humongous long hair I see sticking out in some weird direction gets the yank.

I shave my pubes. I pick my eyebrows. When it comes to legs I sometimes shave sometimes use a cream. You know the cream that you spray on, wait for 3 minutes and then just wash it off and the hair is gone. Shave my armpits.

I've seen it done; a bunch of my co-workers are into it. It's kind of an art form the way they do it. What I can't STAND are the girls that shave their eyebrows off and draw them back on...it looks simultaneously hideous and ridiculous.

I've seen that done as a ploy to relocate the eyebrow. However the skin where the eyebrows really were is always slightly lighter colored so it looks ridiculous.

I HATE getting hairs in my mouth during......and I imagine it's the same for a man going down on a woman. Yes, for God's sake, do some trimming.

Also - hair on the back is SO gross......just an opinion. Chest hair is fine with me - shaving that looks gay. Which is why I was always happy when Dave left his alone!

You're not too young for a nose hair trimmer. No pain either!

Nose hair and ear hair are genetic curses in my family line. Not a lot you can do about that shit, unfortunately. Trim it maybe? Shaving it isn't easy, and you couldn't use Nair or any of that sort of shit in those areas. And the only wax in my ear is the shit that builds up there on its own.

That works great until you're driving around, hit a bump and one of your Rapunzel nostril hair weaves falls out in front of company. I have a pair of professional hair shears that work pretty well for painlessly taking care of the occasional errant nose hair.

A few years ago the local FOX station morning show put up $500 for a guy to get waxed on the air. It was around Christmas, but I didn't hear about it until after the spot aired. I guess they had no takers and had to get one of the staffer's boyfriends to do it.

When I was 18 I had my... Ummm... Pubic area shaved before a hernia and hydroseal surgery. The nurse used some sort of crazy safety razor like Freddy fucking Kruger and had NO sense of humor when I mentioned 'just take a little off the top, please'. I'm sure I wasn't the first smart-ass to use that one.

I had a vasectomy a number of years ago and got carried away trimming it so shaved the lot off , it felt clean and those extra couple of centimetres made all the difference :lol:
