Work was a disaster, had 2 guys call in and had 1 already on vacation. We were swamped all fucking day. Came home to whine to my wife, my mother in law and brother in law (think Alan from The Hangover but not funny) were here so she asked me to make dinner. While getting dinner prepared I had Bobo the retard stalking behind me babbling about his latest life fuck up. I grabbed my plate of dinner and a 12 of Killians and I'm hiding out in the garage blasting music. So how was everbody elses day?

jhale667

You know the day's not gonna go so well when (at 4:30AM) right as you get the shampoo in your hair in the shower - there's a neighborhood-wide brownout. Transformer blew or some shit. Showered and shaved in total darkness. When the power DID come back on, it was intermittent -and a couple of lightbulbs (the spiffy new kind) blew. Computer's on a surge protector that thankfully held (so there's that). Lights were still flickering all over the neighborhood as I left for the office. It was all downhill from there...

But now I'm home, and medicating heavily. All is well. :bong:

I am always amazed at the people doing family history and search for lost relatives, I am looking for a way to avoid the relatives I actually know about. Thank god none of them live in the same country as me, only my parents and a brother.
I only have 2 cousines, and I have met them like 2 times in my life.

1. Bad: I went back to have my permanent crown put on and got ANOTHER office fee. Unbelieveable.

2. Good: I went around town on the same trip, got gas, got dog food, got stuff for dinner, and got a big iced coffee.

3. Bad: The pedicure place couldn't take me. Boo.

4. Good:: I got the lawn mowed in record time, and just before it started raining.

5. Bad: Had to rush Irish to the vet with an apparent UTI which is coming out bloody. Can't do a thing until I get a urine sample from her and she ain't cooperating.

6. Good: I'm on here talking to you assholes!

Especially when like a few months ago your whole family turns on you for refusing to pay a $120 call out charge for a vet to check a sickly $10 hamster on a public holiday.

We wait a day, I'm the bastard and then I still need to pay $30 to get the thing put out of it's misery which I could have done for nothing instantly with an empty vodka bottle and a bin bag .

Or got the cat to make a positive contribution to the household for once.

My daughters rabbit got pregnant and had babies. I knew it would happen but now we had the dilema. I told her some of the bunnies have to go. She asked what we could do and I jokingly said the coyotes would take care of them. She hasn't quite forgave me for that. She finally found a pet store that would take them when they get old enough but the damn pet store is 50 miles away.
