I saved this from many years ago...

Enjoy!

The NEW hitchWORLD FORUMS: TimPabs1, hitchWORLD diehard, updates our discussion forums for a fresh look AND NO POPUP windows!!! - So we did a little Q&A with the man who had THE VISION and dedication to hitchWORLD. (his insight is invaluable and onthefuckinMONEY...)

Yes, kiddies!!! The hitchworld1969 forums have been revamped by TimPabs1. TimPabs1 is a well known personality at the official Van Halen website, The David Lee Roth Army site, and that "other" site that links you to all the good Van Halen sites. Anyway, I am so fucking stoked!! No more fucking SLEAZYboard pop-up windows!!! Same party, different location!

Driven purely by his loyalty to the hitchWORLD, which, has in kind given HIM so much, TimPabs1 put forth serious effort and demonstrated initiative... ah fuck, this is starting to sound like a letter of recommendation for a job or something. uh huh huh.

Anyway, I decided to sit down with the man who has given back so much to the hitchWORLD faithful and dig upon his perspective and experience. What he had to say will be controversial to say the least but it is truthful. This guy pulls no punches. And to think, he and I got started off on the wrong foot all those many months ago when we flamed each other in the "Guns-n-Roses" thread at the PleasureDump... but as you'll see, he definitely has that hitchWORLD spirit- which is ultimately what aligned us in friendship once we got past our egos that day so long ago. Without further ado, here's TimPabs1:

hitchworld1969: How did you first end up at the Dome?

TimPabs1: Well, I would check a lot of the sites. I hardly would ever check the Official Site because there was never any kind of update whatsoever. If it was, it was "VH on TV" or some other bullshit re-run on VH-1. I enjoyed vhnd.com because there is new stuff going on all the time. More entertaining. But I was into gaming at the time, and I never spent a while lot of time with VH on the Internet. Once I got to this new apartment in September '00, then I started browsing on this network here, and I found the Dome. It was timing. Had this happened a year ago, I would have registered at Links first. I chose TimPabs1 because it's my handle for AIM, Yahoo, etc.

hw1969: How did you take those interactions over there? Were you able to get along with everyone?

TP1: Oh of course I was! It was kinda like most people. You start off not knowing anyone, and then later posting more and more until you become one of the frequent posters. Unfortunately, your original name was banned before I originally registered. LOL.

hw1969: I shall always maintain that the decision to ban me over there was the "great mistake" of the "Great SATAN" Starks, and the sole reason for Van Halen's current state of influx today. I digress. So when did the turning point come around?

TP1: Well, that's funny, but it's when I told Chelle I could help her ban you! Damn what was I thinking? Man o man. You must grow on people Hitch. You notice how the newbies hate you, and the old timers like you? Not always the truth, because some are stuck in their old ways, but you see what I mean.

hw1969: I remember it, but we're cool now man. So what happened?

TP1: Well, I would talk to Chelle a lot in AIM right. Well, at that time, she was the only mod that had no life. What I mean is, closing, moving every damn thread. Shit man, that takes a lot outta ya. But 9,000+ posts later for Chelle, here we are! This is since October too! Anyway, I have her some pointers on IP addresses, what they mean, and how you can identify them. I thought her enough on how to ban them properly, without banning an IP domain and then screwing many innocent people who share it. Blah Blah Blah. So of course I said that if Brad ever needed any help, I'd be willing to help, since I have the knowledge and whatnot. Well, I think somehow she took that as a threat. Because ever since then, she was a real bitch to me. She would tell the mods that I would try to get her fired and shit because she incompetant. Now I never implied that. I was willing to JOIN the team, not replace. Anyway, story went like that.

hw1969: So then, all HELL breaks loose? uh huh uh huh.

TP1: Pretty much. She'd karma me for the most ridiculous shit. So dumb I can't even remember. But then the way things went is you'd have regular quarrels with the other PD people about certain issues that were political, band related, or what have you. Eventually leading to "Closing this thread. Thanks a lot Tim!----Closing this one. Thanks again Tim!" Singling out one person is bullshit. It got personal unfortunately. I think what really burned me up was when she spread this shit to the other new mods, like Guitar Shark aka AssClown and the Army Traitor DiamondD4Ever. Guitar Shark came from the woods and DiamondD4Ever used to talk so much shit about the PD and Brad, it was funny as Hell to see him get the job. By then, I totally didn't want it anymore. I knew the place was becoming a joke. I then registered at the Army and Links. Ya know, I only despise people when they give me shit first. I'm friends with all, until someone sticks me the wrong way.

hw1969: So what did you do then?

TP1: There was nothing I could do! At that point, you couldn't have a heated arguement with anyone because Chelle or Assclown would close em. I think shit really hit the fan when I got into a pissing match with the entire Army at the PD.

hw1969: What happened there?

TP1: Well, I was chatting with my main man TMVH in a AIM chat, and we were just talking about FORD, and how he's a Sore/Loserman about the election. So we came up with a nickname for him. Since he calls everyone "Sheep", we decided to call him a "Stubborn Donkey Swamp Mule." This was because he's stubborn like a mule, and the rest was just to make the name funny. Anyway, this was insane. I posted pics of Velveeta, Donkeys, Al Gore, Ford trucks, and sheep and asked PD members to name that member. LOL. It was actually very funny too. It pissed him off of course. But so what? Like he never pissed anyone off with his bullheaded comments? Truth is, I love that guy. He makes me laugh more than anything with his vocabulary. "Sheepocrites", and "censorsheep" are some of the funnier ones. LOL. But I like to get him all wound up. Somehow, shit blew way overboard when some dude, and to this day I have no idea who it was, registered under the name "CHEVROLET" and really hammered FORD good. Man, you know how FORD says Cheese Ballads and Van HALEN and Van Hagar and VDIII? Well this guy would put Van Roth, Van HALEN, and VDIII. It was hilarious. It wasn't half-assed either. This guy quoted other people's quotes and answered them line for line just like FORD. And he was just as good. Actually he was better! FORD went completely psycho! Later, Von Halen jumped in for FORD and was going completely berzerk on my ass. Later, Starsky and other people like Mike B jumped in. I had guys like Sleepness Nights, BalanceRocked, and TMVH on my side. Shit got so nutty, that Starks banned FORD, me, Chevy, and VonHalen. Except Von got the worst end, because he claimed it was an IP ban. Which is BS! No big deal to FORD, because he just started posting as the Devil again and I was re-instated the next day because perhaps Starks realized it was a joke from the get-go. I later made up with VonHalen and he's a cool dude. He knows it was all a misunderstanding, and my intentions were harmless, or playful shall we say.

hw1969: So then what?

TP1: Obviously, things have never been the same. I've been watched like a Hawk by Assclown, the Traitor, and Chelle. It's damn retarded. They're like forum Hitlers n shit. Brad has even told Chelle to quit whining at times when she whined to him. LOL. Speaking of Brad. There was this moron from the Army who registered as TimPabs2, and was posting shit at the Dome that he read on one of my websites, and was just spitting out to people. This is an issue too, because I've had my run-ins with Internet stalkers n shit, so this kinda scared me. Once I found out who it was, I told TopTimmy to be on the lookout at Links, and I told VonHalen to talk to Sarge. I email Brad and paste him some threads and shit figuring he'd understand from the whole Metallica insident where someone posted under his name. He emailed the webmaster and requested the name get banned. You know what he said to me? He said, "It's up for discussion with the mods." I was like, "WHAT THE FUCK SAY DO THEY HAVE!???" Damnit Hitch...they shouldn't even get any kind of choice in the matter! This doesn't concern them! Fucking Brad really cares! He was a real asshole for that! That just goes to show that he can give two shits about anyone but himself, and whoever kisses his ass! He fucked everyone by using the official name to bribe people into coming to the Dome. The band ain't gonna post there. EVH said himself he doesn't know shit about the computer. Anyway, if you're not part of their little "Clique", then you're nothing. This karma system I hear is going out, which is good. It's abused! People like Fernando that post question mark after question mark have +6 karma, and well thought out posts get shit! I'm not knocking Fernando. It's not his fault. But these mods are total losers! For some reason now, Brad banned my name again. Obviously I'm the talk of discussion in the mod room again. Take a look in there one day and look how many posts are in that mod forum. That's just showing their is a lot of shit said behind EVERYONE'S back! There is no way that many posts are for people like you Hitch, or me, or FORD or what have you. Just bullshit. The REAL VH fans hate that place. Gee, I wonder why!

hw1969: What are you doing now?

TP1: I call Links my home now. I've made some good friends there in Brett, Jerel, TopTimmy, and Seenbad. I also cause havoc with FORD at the Army for shits n giggles, and old time's sake. He understands too. Of course, I like the Army where I can talk to you, and I've made good friends with WARF, and so on. I'll still be around of course dude. Talking to the "TRUE FANS OF VH"!!! Peace out! And hopefully everyone visits Hitchworld!

...and everyone GET TO THE NEW hitchWORLD forums, register, and let us know what you think!!! Thanks again to TimPabs1 for all the hard work and for the perspective which validates the current hitchWORLD stance on the pleasureDUMP and it's moderators.
BEST!!

Wow. My head is spinning as it recalls all the above drama, and all the above posters!! **whew**
Thanks Warf. Wonder what happened to all of Chelles personal interviews!
Also, could there be anything left (probably in ashes now) of Timmy Ps own site?!?

So was Von Halen really banned from the pasture dump?

FORD

Seriously, what the fuck is this shit?

If there's one asshole who never deserved any sort of "tribute" or recognition, it's that fucking little Repuke asshole stalker plagarist.

Should I have a sense of humor about something that happened over 12 years ago?

Hell, for most things I do.

NOT for what that piece of shit did.

So much for the goddamned "peace train", huh?

Von Halen

So was Von Halen really banned from the pasture dump?

Yes, and it was an IP ban.

But I think Starks had an issue with me because I called him out from the old VH Mailing List days when tried to lift some of my pics.

Post up the Blondgirl777 interview WARF. Why not?

See that FORD? You got me banned for sticking up for your ass! :D

Dude, I hope you aren't wound this tight in real life. You are a big fucker, right? You are going to give yourself a heart attack man. We are gonna find your ass on the bathroom floor like Gandolfini.

Pardon me if I'm wrong but I thought he paid you a few compliments in this interview. I barely remember TimPabs besides the short lived hitch message board from years ago. (Editors note: Additional information and questions added 10/2/2006)

Chelle: Where were you born/raised?

BG: Montréal, Canada

Chelle: Tell us a bit about yourself in a short biography

BG: I grew up as a quiet child but my teenages were pretty Rock & Roll. Hanging out with 2 different crowds, the heavy metals and the alternative/mods. I listened to all kinds of music and dressed all kinds of ways. I managed to get 2 degrees; one in "Human Sciences" and one in "Fashion Merchandising". I also have a certificate in "Fashion Design and Technical Pattern Making".

I met my husband in a club at age 23 and we've immediately got that "sparkle"... we hung out (as friends) for about 3 months. Then, he asked me if I was interested in moving to Los Angeles with him as he wanted to pursue a drummer's career. I said "I do". We left and lived there for 1 year. Then (since we didn't like it), moved on to San Francisco and stayed for another 7 years. San Francisco is my very favorite city. I worked there as a costume designer specializing in corsetry.

We made good friends there and enjoyed every moments we lived (good or bad). I will never forget those experiences... It was the best time of my life!

But the musician career was not going where we'd expected and he wanted to study "Electronic Engineering" to ensure a decent future. So we moved back to Canada, choosing Toronto because the tuition's on schooling are a lot less expensive and the student loan/scholarship system is better...

The years in Toronto where not easy on us as I had to move back and forth from Montreal (for MY work). We hated living in Toronto... we think of it as a "second class American city". Definitely not for us! So we came back to Montreal, with our old friends and family.

We had planned to move back to San Francisco after his degree but then the Republicans came in with war and for now, the U.S. is not an appealing place to be. Our California friends tell us to "wait another term" at least... At some point, they where the ones to want to move here. But they are way to comfortable where they are! They are all pretty well established so why in hell would they move here? L.O.L.

So now I am 5 months pregnant (it's a boy!) and even if the doctors told me to "take it easy" for the rest of it, they approved that we are going to visit Belgium in 2 weeks. We love to travel together. We do pretty much everything together, that's how it's been since we've met and that's how we both enjoy it! Appreciating each other is a fundamental for a marriage to last... we are both lovers and buddies. Now, we'll be parents for the first time! We are still debating on names...

My career is taking a slow down but I intend to go back to it in about less than a year after the kid is born. It is very important for me to accomplish myself professionally!

Oh and you wanna know why the 777 (I use that all the time)...???

Because I was born 07/07/67 at 7:30 PM, weighing 7 pounds and some...

Now my son is due (according to that calendar thing) on February 07-07

But no, those numbers haven't been lucky for me to win the lottery!

So that pretty much sums it up (short and sweet)...
CJ: Are there any natural disasters in Montreal? Earthquakes, floods, etc.?

BG: There was a huge flood in 94 and a disastrous ice storm in 96 but I was living in San Francisco when it happened.

Chelle: Do you have any brothers/sisters?

BG: One 35 yr old sister

Chelle: Married? Kids?

BG: Married for 15 years, expecting a first child in February... it took us that long to "be ready" and make that decision...

Chelle: Congratulations on the baby! Are you hoping for a boy or a girl? Do you have names picked out yet?

BG: Well...THANK YOU! I like Melody for a girl and Gabriel or Ian for a boy. No preference in gender...

Chelle: Hobbies?

BG: Arts & Crafts, Decoration, Music. I also really like travel... for work, I get to do that a lot and in October I am going to Europe (for pleasure) with my husband. We lived in California (my husband and I) for 8 years and are planning to go back living there when the kid is at school age...

Chelle: Do you play any musical instruments?

BG: I learned/played piano for 6 years as a teenager and I took singing too. My hubby is a drummer (used to be in a band)...Music is very important in our lives.

CJ: Ever been to an auto race?

BG: Yes, a friend of mine owns an Indy formula car and took me to a practice race in Santa Clara (or San Jose, can't remember), California. I also got to sit in the car (but not drive it) and see how it feels...

Chelle: Complete this sentence. If I won a million dollars, I would _________.

BG: If I won a million dollars, I would share with my family

Chelle: What is the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?

BG: To have the tech support at work discovering I've been watching porn!

Chelle: Uh oh! Did you get in trouble? What site were you looking at?

BG: Actually, I didn't really look at porn itself...Here is what I wrote about that, on DLR.com once:

One day, I was at work and during free time, we were allowed to do whatever we wanted; internet, chatting, personal E-mails etc...So of course... I had to visit D.L.R. Army and check my posts...

But 2 days after, I found out that the damn computer had managed to download every single picture on the site (even the ones I didn't look at) porn, shit-eating people, EVERYTHING!

I started getting nervous and as I was trying to find a way to get rid of all that, a (male) co-worker walked in and saw that. He said: "Shit, are you watching porn?" and I replied: "No, no, I just realized that those obscenities just happen to be there!" and he looked at me funny and said "Yyyeah rrright!" Since that computer was brand new and I was the only one with the code, I really looked stupid but what could I say? Then, since I really looked innocent, he said "Ho, it must be the tech guy...you know, when he's alone here in the evenings..." And I said: "That's it, it's HIM! That guy is such a geek anyway..." and my co-worker sorta believed that scenario.

A month later, him and I went on a business trip, we smoke a joint and he asked me again: "Was that you, that was watching porn on that computer?" and I still denied the whole thing.

That was sooooo embarrassing!

Chelle: Whoa, wait a minute, back up....Is smoking joints on business trips standard procedure in Canada? LOL!

BG: Ho, absolutely not!!! L.O.L. In fact, it was the first time in my life that someone pulled that on a business trip (or at work period). Also, it was because we where inside Canada... so no custom officers to check his luggage. I really enjoy Marijuana as recreational but I couldn't possibly smoke and work!...Although some people do...

Chelle: When did you first discover VH?

BG: At 15 years old, in 1983

Chelle: How long have you been involved in the VH online community?

BG: About 2 years

Chelle: Which sites do you visit regularly?

BG: Rotharmy.com

Chelle: Have you met any of your online VH friends in person?

BG: Yes, I've known "Franksters" for over 15 years...

Chelle: How do you know him?

BG: He is one of my husband's childhood friends. We hang out quite often since he lives 5 minutes away from us. I really like that guy!

Chelle: Is fashion design your "day job"?

BG: Yes, it has been for over 14 years. Lately I've been contracting out since it is "in style" for employers to do that (no benefits to pay, no liabilities etc...) I like it better because I get more free time and independence altogether.

CJ: Who would you like to design an outfit for, both female and male?

BG: Madonna and Dave. Stage clothing and costumes are fun!

CJ: What would you suggest for DLR, both in his VH days, and now?

BG: He should get married and have kids!

CJ: Is it okay to wear white after summer ends?

BG: I don't but I also think that people do whatever they feel comfortable with, as far as clothing.

CJ: Do you wear what you design?

BG: Sometimes, but rarely what I design for work.

CJ: Where can we see some of your work?

BG: In Canada; Sears (stores and catalogue) and independent boutiques. In U.S.A; Macy's, Bloomingdales, Lords & Taylor, Sears (stores and catalogue) and independents. Very commercial stuff.

Chelle: I'd like to see pictures of your designs. Are they online somewhere?

BG: Some well known brands I designed for were "Wonder Bra ME" (Canadian editions); http://www.wonderbra.com the seamless collection, Gottex Silver (swimsuits), DIM lingerie (for the Canadian market): http://bianca-lingerie.com/home.asp , "Christina"(swimsuits) http://www.swimsuits.com/brands/christina.html Club Monaco (retailer). Ho and check out: http://www.darkgarden.com/ a S-F based corset shop (YOU will really like that). I worked there for a couple years... I miss it a lot! That was my best job ever...

Of course, I didn't design every single item on these sites but quite a few.
I also worked as a product manager and merchandiser in some cases.

Chelle: Wow! Cool stuff! Can you get me a discount?
CJ: Favorite piece of clothing owned?

BG: A long, black fishtale latex skirt my husband bought me at "Demask" in Amsterdam.

CJ: How many outfits in the closet?

BG: Waaaayyy too many!

CJ: Are you really blonde? And what is your blondest moment?

BG: I was born with white/blonde hair and stayed that way up until my teenages. Then I started to play with chemicals in my hair and got darker and darker. Now, I am a medium dark blonde with streaks of highlights.

CJ: If someone from this board were to visit Montreal, would you show them around town a bit? Where would you take them (What are the must see attractions from a tourist and local point of view)

BG: It would be my pleasure! I'm always interested in meeting cool people (especially VH fans!)...

There are 2 kinds of things I would do. The nature part, up in the Laurentians mountains and the Eastern townships; in the fall, the colors are absolutely spectacular and we have sceneries and sites that people around the world love to visit every year.

Also, the nightlife; MTL is known for that. It's like a see and be seen kind of scene (no longer my cup of tea) but it's worth doing...

Besides, we have old gothic architecture (the city was founded in the 1600...), a basilica, a replica of Paris' Notre-Dame cathedral, cobble stone streets etc... and a one of a kind gastronomy. I would absolutely go to Quebec city, the oldest city in eastern America! Our French heritage mixed with the English's makes that city very unique.

My real name, address, and phone number were all over this and other sites too, coinciding with the time that a bunch of crazed Busheep wanted to nail me to a cross because I didn't join the 91% Chimpcult in the aftermath of the 9-11-01 operations.

I know damn well who leaked that info to PabBitch too. Can't directly prove it, but the list of possible suspects (those who would have such info at that time) was very small as in less than 5, and only one of those 5 would have been politically motivated to do that.

Don't know what you're talking about, but I highly doubt any of the people at that event leaked anything to Tim. Anyway, I know you don't want to bring it all up again, so sorry for my role in that! Couldn't resist bringing Chelle into it... :D

Probably me!

Well FORD, at least you know if it was politically motivated, it wasn't me! I hate all the politics bullshit.

I'm cuntfused about the word "ban". Seems so many people have rap sheets of multiple bans. This punishment is rather non-permanent apparently. Perhaps there should just be 30 day suspensions or something. Kinda like a penalty box. Or does that already exist, too?

Please forgive my ignorance. I still cuntsider myself extremely new to this interweb message board world.

FORD, do you want to read your interview with Chelle?

I've had beers with FORD once or twice and can confirm that there is little difference between his online persona and his real life personality. Dude's a trip! Had a blast with him and the other folks.

I offered to have a couple of beers with FORD about ten years ago when I was in his neck of the woods, but he made some lame-ass excuse why he couldn't make it....

Continuing to hold that against him.... ;)

All of this was a long long time ago but I think a lot of posters now would be surprised at the extent of the shit that FORD had to put up with back then from that Pabs character.

It went on daily for months as I remember and it wouldn't be allowed at any website these days, it's just 10 years ago that the internet was very much the wild west and this site was Tombstone. :)

How times have changed - an asshole in the UK just got jailed for 2 years for making a threat on the internet under an alias against people in the US even though it was clearly not what we or the police would consider a viable threat.

Things are only going to get tighter and we should all be considering it a bit more before throwing shit at people on the internet.

The one that not scared me but made me think was the student who got sent to jail for tweeting racist shite about the footballer muamba.
Yes it was stupid and he deserved some punishment , but he was pissed and couldnt even remember doing it.
I listened to the story on the radio and thought fucking hell we could all say stupid stuff when we are pissed. And he is fucked for life now as the idiot who tweeted shite.
People on this site have used a lot worse without the attention of the police.

Ah Chelle. Where is she today? Haven't seen hide nor hair for quite a while.

She wanted me to do one of those interviews but I blew it off... Probably should have looking in the rear view mirror..

Hmm I'm not so sure.

Maybe I'm a cynical grumpy old fuck but I can't remember ever reading anything much in those interviews that was very interesting to me at least and most people ended up giving away a lot of personal details. Maybe it's a girl thing but why would I give a flying fuck how many brothers and sisters you had or what age your kids were? :)

I think I could have altered the material enough so it would have been interesting... probably the same reason I didn't do it.
