View Full Version : Guess what libs – Conservatives are winning everywhere but inside the beltway

1) There are now 30 center-right governors from Arizona to Maine.
2) Conservatives now control 27 center-right state legislatures entirely and split power in five other states.
3) For the first time a majority of states have turned down “free” federal money. 26 states have thus far opted not to expand Medicaid to 138 percent of the federal poverty rate in exchange for federal funding at 100 percent for the first three years and 90 percent thereafter.

All of the above has occurred since the 2010 re-election of President Ego. Those freakin’ red state voters keep messing up your liberal plans.

Please go back to your gun grabbing ways and laws – one can only hope that you will. You piss off right leaning voters so much that they storm to the voting booths.

Conservatives are "winning" inside the Beltway, because that's all that exists there. There are no Liberals inside the Beltway, aside from Thom Hartmann (who now lives in DC and broadcasts from there) and the very few who remain in Congress, such as Senator Bernie Sanders and the Progressive Caucus in the House. In beltway states like Virginia, people like Mark Warner and Terry McUseless get away with calling themselves "Democrats" when they would have been considered hard right conservatives in Barry Goldwater's Republican party.

Conservatives are "winning" elsewhere due to a combination of electro-fraud machines, voter intimidation schemes (now reinforced by the BCE 5 on the Supreme Court and their repealing of the Voting Rights Act), and rampant gerrymandering. The Demoncrats actually got more votes than the Repukes in House races in 2012, but due to criminal gerrymandering, ended up with less seats.

BTW, for somebody who likes to throw around accusations of "racism" at everyone with a pulse, it's unbelievable that you could support these practices, which are obviously aimed at restricting (or if at all possible, eliminating) votes of those mortals who have higher levels of melanin in their skin.

If only we'd have elected Rocky Road Anderson as President. He'd have fixed it all and saved the day. Just like when he built a coalition to get his skyway bridge built when he was Mayor. Oh that's right, he couldn't get his bridge built just like he couldn't raise any support to be President so he started his own party.

Rocky should have put a coalition ticket together with Jill Stein. Since they were both running separately, they split the vote of Liberals who were disgusted by Obama turning out to be a stealth Repuke. http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/teufel/d085.gif

As for the bridge in SLC, why don't YOU try doing something in that town against the wishes of the Elohim Polygamy Cult who owns that state, and see how successful you are at it?

Rocky couldn't put a coalition ticket together with his father (the lumberjack) let alone anyone else. The man knows as much about leadership as the coward in Saving Private Ryan. Come on, he had to start his own party because nobody else wanted to be associated with him. Did you ever see how much money he raised as a candidate for President? Lots of people trying to get behind him that was for sure.

No dude. Conservatives are winning because people are fed up with all the liberal policies being instituted and they want a change. Every new thing the libs do wakes more people up that much more to just how awful the lefts ideas are once implemented.

Please tell the Devil where the portal is to this alternative universe...... because I haven't seen a "liberal policy" instituted since 1979.

Now, on the other horn.... if the Republican Party embraced Old School Dwight Eisenhower Conservatism (http://boldprogressives.org/2012/08/the-surprisingly-progressive-republican-party-platform-of-1956/), they might actually get somewhere......

And as the good General wrote to his brother in 1954.....

“Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things. Among them are…a few…Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or business man from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid”

Their number is still negligible, and they are still stupid..... but thanks to 32 years of destructive deregulation, they now have unthinkable amounts of money, and no laws to prevent them from buying influence with it. http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/teufel/d085.gif

You mean when Jimmy Carter was in office? LMAO. Oh, boy! Lets go back to high inflation and interest rates for housing loans were in the double digits. Can we? Can we? You'd like that wouldn't ya? Talk about stalling the economy out.

Such a flippant and stupid remark and yet so typical of the crap you continuously post. Do you ever think anything through?

When this occurred in 2012 it was the first time that either party had controlled that many statehouse seats in 12 years. You fucks on the left couldn't get those numbers all through the Bush years. You know during the time you all lost your minds and swore that everyone was behind you and your policies. LMAO.

If you have two-thirds of the nation's governors on the same policy and that share similarities, then you have something that has a combined larger effect. Example - most opted out of the state insurance exchanges and their cost. It forced the Federal Government to pony up. Pretty smart when it comes to your bottom line on the states' budgets that passed on it.

Jimmy, much like Obama, was left with a huge pile of shit by his BCE predecessors. Specifically in this case the dueling piles of dragonshit called Vietnam and the first BCE Energy Crisis.

How President Carter reacted to the latter was to put long range plans into effect that would have eliminated your country's dependance on fossil fuels (especially foreign ones) long before now. Unfortunately that was all thrown into the shitter the day that the absent minded B movie actor moved his jar of jelly beans into the Oval Office.

LMAO...You mean like keeping the war going and expanding them into other countries? You mean like expanding drone strikes? You mean like NSA and how they spy on you and how that was expanded? You mean the FISA Court and the warrants that never get turned down? You mean like spending that has gone out of control? The list goes on and on under Pres. Ego. Bro, he's George W. You will notice that I never said Obama reacted to his crises (plural) like Carter did. He certainly should have. More to the point, since Chimp's damage was far worse than what Nixon/Ford left for Jimmy, Obama should have reacted like FDR. With just a little bit of his cousin Teddy thrown in, when it came to dismantling corporations that were too big to exist, NOT "too big to fail".

And I'm speaking of the banking industry here, not those companies which still employ Americans to actually make stuff, like the auto industry.

FDR, and later Eisenhower did great things for the economy while building some badly needed infrastructure across the USA. Obama should have followed their example. The fact that he did not do so, is what cost him the endorsement of the Demoncratic Party of Hell in 2012.

Pres. Ego really did nothing when responding to the financial crisis. The same banks still trade in the same items that brought us to the brink. Of course, you'll say it was the other party that blocked whatever. I'd have to point out that Pres. Ego's party controlled both the House and the Senate. Um, they could have brought forth the "fixes" you seem to want if 1) they had a President that would have been a leader and 2) all of them hadn't been bought off by whatever lobby.

BTW, doesn't it chap your ass that Carter, whom you seem to love, got Chinese leader Deng to allow Bibles and religious freedom in China?

I'm not Pres. Carter's biggest champion, but blaming Carter for all that is like blaming FDR for WWII. We had like this war called like Vietnam and shit, that like we were like totally spending all this money on and pissing away and stuff. And the delayed net effect was ultimately a recession. And if Reagan had been a one termer, he would have been remembered as the recession president, since we actually had a recession on his watch...

It's called, "reaching." You can jerkoff all over yourself with your idiotic sourgrapes shit. That's your hope? A few Red states that often get more money from the Federal gov't they hate so much gets some worthless majorities no one gives a fuck about and mean nothing? Who gives a fuck? Many of those districts ARE gerrymandered and increasingly I hear teabagger asswipes chiming in on how we're not really a "democracy but a republic!" Right, because they only believe in a democracy in which white people are the majority. That's why we have a baseless obsession with illegal immigrants voting and voter ID laws because they want to squash the Latino vote and prevent elderly blacks from voting, and continue to heavy gerrymander districts on neatly cookie-cutter white areas to preserve a Repthuglican majority and have complete morons like Ted "Batista" Cruz as your pols...

EXCEPT THEY ALL HATE EACH OTHER!! Did you even pay attention to any of this where governors like NJ's Christie were condemning the closure of the Federal gov't and mocking the absurdity of the teabag assholes like Cruz. And none of them agree, there IS NO MONOLITHIC block of Republicans. If you think that, you're even dumber than your typical posting suggests.

If anything, there's a chance that the GOP may split into not just factions, but two parties!

The misogynistic, homophobic Nick the Dick with the mental abilities of Lennie from Of Mice and Men wants to come out and play. I know Nick you have no idea of what that reference was because it would have required you to have read a classic piece of literature at some point in you life and you were to busy reading the letters to Penthouse in your mom’s basement. Not shocking at all that you still live there is it? Wait, that wasn't your fault was it. It was your childhood or some other crap that you blame your dead end life on wasn't it?

Seriously, you want to talk about the non-event that just occurred? Wait you mean the 17% of the Federal Government that was shut down harming the economy? Or the non-event of the default? Let me see. The default never occurred did it? No, somehow the 2 sides that wouldn’t yield came to terms. Um, let’s see. What is that little thing that would never allow the US to default? Oh, that’s right. It is called the 14 Amendment. You know something about Section 4 in it. Once again Nick the Dick doesn’t think things through and doesn’t ever dip his tiny brainpower below the surface. Dude, you are laughable. It was never gonna happen. Once again you get caught up in the moment and not what is really going on. The non-event was just that. A non-event. Got both sides bases all worked up and allowed the Dems to get some money headed their way because the National Party was in the red. The Democratic National Committee raised $7.4 million in September, $3 million more than its August haul. The Democratic committee now has $5.5 million cash on hand, but remains over $17 million in debt. Gotta gin up something in an off election year to keep to cash flow moving in.

You and the racist Ford/Satan should be thanking the Tea Party. Why? They took the heat off President Ego and the rollout of the Health Care Law that has been so plagued with issues that it is laughable. I can’t wait for more people to get an understanding of the $ 95.00 or 1% of your income whichever is greater tax for not having health care and how that will effect them. Oh wait, what is that? It grows to 1 ½% the next year, and continues to grow year after year until you reach 3% of your total income. While that may not effect you in your pizza delivery dead end job it will cause hardships for those that actually make a decent living and have families to support.

Why do I bother? You have never gotten that I am not in either party. At some point, you have to look at both parties and realize that they both pretty much are the same. If the whole NSA/FISA Court information provided by Snowden didn’t make that clear to you then nothing will. Please share with me how either side is not complicit in it. One started it the other expanded it. Neither is attempting to limit it or defund it. Your guys, “the party for the little guy”, sure, as shit isn’t. The other party that all about Corporations or whatever your side says they are isn’t either. I’m glad that the ACLU is there and is fighting it.

It didn't occur because the GOP lost and they knew they'd be fileted at the next election, which they will be anyways. The very fact that assholes would stoop so low and make us look like a complete banana republic and the fact that you seem to think that's fine is pretty telling, shithead!
