I've been there once but I didn't drop any acid. I had a Hurricane at Pat O'Briens and bought a t shirt from Voodoo Harley Davidson. I did live in a commune in Thousand Oaks for a month or so but they didn't approve of my pot smoking. They grew food and looked like hippies but they were just long haired Jesus freaks. The dude who I worked with named Wolfman had been a proffessional boxer and killed a guy in a fight and turned to the Lord for forgiveness. He drove with his chest against the steering wheel and looked like he was a werewolf looking for his next victim. I took acid at a concert in East Troy Wisconsin and tried to drive back to the navy base about twenty miles south and ended up a few hundred miles north heading towards Minnesota. I drove all night between getting lost and heading back and my two passengers slept the whole time until I finally got to the base barely in time for morning muster. Then I started blowing chunks during inspection and got to go back to bed after convincing the corpsman I ate something bad the night before. He thought I was in a bar brawl because I had two black eyes from the acid I took the night before. I broke my nose on acid once two. When I woke up the next day it looked like I skidded on my nose for a few hundred feet. I walked into a tree or something while I was trippin and it skinned my nose all the way to my forehead. I had to use scab softener and pull the scabs off everyday until it completely healed or I would have ended up with a nasty scar . I guess I was imitating my dad. he fell asleep and rear ended a semi and got his nose torn off in the process. It healed up after they sewed it back on but he had stitch marks all around it for years. As he got older they practically disappeared. About the craziest thing I ever did was drive through a sobriety check point at about 120 when I was driving a customers car while I was detailing cars for a living. I picked up the car, a 78 Trans Am from the dealer late on a friday and he said I could drive it as long as I didn't wreck it or I bought it and he needed it back by noon saturday to take to the auction. I had such a blast in that car I bought an identical 78 Trans Am a few years later. I wanted to see how fast it would go and the speedo was buried as I crested a hill and the sobriety checkpoint was right there. I barely had time to swerve around the damn thing. My buddy kept looking back but they didn't even try to chase me. I made a left about a half mile later and went home and hid the car in the back yard under some tarps just in case a helicopter flew over looking for it.
