It's official - anybody who quotes Allen West as a source is even dumber than he is.

And I don't need a "study" to determine that fact. The evidence is obvious.

Fuck, Allen west has more intelligence in a gram of his brain matter than your whole fucking inbred family.

A gram of brain matter would be about all he has to work with. And that's probably twice what you have.

Wow. Who could have guessed that people who tend to be pro-life, pro-family, pro- oil, hunting, fishing, meat eating, global warming skeptics would have better scientific comprehension than liberals?

LMAO !!

This is kinda a dupe.....again....just because Christian Creationism is on the pulpit every sunday and gives them terms....does not really mean they know the fight against anthrax and why Jonas Salk came to the conclusions he did.

I spent 18 years in religion and private schools longer than that.....so a Tea Partier would know a few more terms than someone 20 years out of High School......but perhaps not the right conclusions.

Let Cupid sort em out.

For fans of Mrs Bachmann out there:

Until 1955, when the Salk vaccine was introduced, polio was considered the most frightening public health problem of the post-war United States. Annual epidemics were increasingly devastating. The 1952 epidemic was the worst outbreak in the nation's history. Of nearly 58,000 cases reported that year, 3,145 people died and 21,269 were left with mild to disabling paralysis,[1] with most of its victims being children. The "public reaction was to a plague," said historian Bill O'Neal.[2] "Citizens of urban areas were to be terrified every summer when this frightful visitor returned." According to a 2009 PBS documentary, "Apart from the atomic bomb, America's greatest fear was polio."[3] As a result, scientists were in a frantic race to find a way to prevent or cure the disease. U.S. president Franklin D. Roosevelt was the world's most recognized victim of the disease and founded the organization, the March of Dimes Foundation, that would fund the development of a vaccine.

----For those that do not remember, my father used to tell a joke from his childhood: A teacher walks in and asks "Who missed their polio vaccine raise their hands"....physical comedy would follow.

And if Mrs. Bachmann's endorsement is not enough:

In Pakistan in 2007, there was violent opposition to vaccinations in the Northwest Frontier Province where a doctor and a health worker in the Polio Eradication Program were killed. Since then, the Taliban has blocked all vaccinations in the Swat Valley of Pakistan. As a result, Pakistan was the only country in 2010 to record an increase in cases of polio, according to the World Health Organization, along with having the highest incidence of polio in the world.[46]

There was more to this story.

Polio was close to being eradicated when the CIA came up with the idea of putting fake doctors into the area to try and get DNA samples to find Bin Laden.

The result was that people stopped taking the vaccine and 6 innocent health workers were murdered.

Did anyone at the CIA get sacked or prosecuted for this disgrace?

Was there widespread public outrage?

Was it very widely pursued by the media or politicians?

Instead people worry about silly conspiracy theories...

From the link: "that it is a Western plot to sterilize girls, that it is unclean under Islamic law,"

Sounds like CIA did right by a bunch Islamists, who are much more brilliant than silly Christians.
