There are a growing number of people contacting us for assistance in this area. Whereas Al-Anon© was founded for the benefit of the spouses and families of alcoholics, it took a few years prior to it becoming an official fellowship.

We are a brand new fellowship and this area of recovery has not yet been created.

So I could set this up as someone who has a friend who is addicted to porn. :)

But a virtual dating site for porn addicts might be a viable venture... 95% of the applicants would be male and the other 5% confused. But if you were enterprising and had a talent for AI programming you could develop virtual female bots with enough emotional imbalance and screwed up thinking to make them seem real. Given the customers are probably adverse to real human interaction the virtual aspects would be an easy sell...

It's just this odd sort of mentality which dictates that one who engages in autoerotic behavior while watching two (or more) people having intercourse is some sort of mental disease.

I mean, clearly if one is compulsively masturbating to the point where they're doing it in public or they are unable to stop long enough to, say, go to work...or to eat a meal...taking it to THAT degree might be a problem. But there's always free will. One doesn't HAVE to masturbate to internet pornography on a daily basis, and it's important to remember that internet porn probably isn't going to vanish tomorrow and even if one had the wherewithal to spend all their time doing nothing but masturbate to internet porn you'd still never be able to view every piece of internet porn available, because there's too much available vs. the amount of hours in an average human beings lifetime to see it all.

Yeah, but that might not be a bad thing. People who don't want to pay for internet porn would just have to go back to using their imaginations. All of this handheld/portable/affordable technology is turning people into semi-mobile couch potatoes.

I mean, are people that uncomfortable interacting with others, or contemplating their own thoughts that they have to fondle gadgets 24/7? Have people lost the ability or desire to think for themselves to the point where they can't even be bothered to conjure up their own sexual fantasies to jag off to?

Shit, if porn suddenly became prohibitively expensive to view, people might actually have to revert back to going out and interacting with a real human being in order to get laid. What a tragedy THAT would be. Suddenly, you'd see an explosion of husbands actually fucking their wives again if internet porn vanished!
