Several cities in So Cal have one night a week or a month where they line both sides of the street with them so people can sample different kinds of foods from different areas. Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Greek, soul food, vegetarian, burgers, dogs, barbecue, deep fried whatever, funnel cakes, ice cream all kinds of munchies. When they legalize pot here these guys will all get rich. Some towns even close off a few streets and set up stages for bands while others have semi permanent food courts like they have at the fair.
