Rep. Vance McAllister, who ran on a "faith, family, and country" platform for his freshman term in the House, was caught on video kissing a member of his staff. McAllister, a married Republican from Louisiana, was elected to replace Rep. Rodney Alexander in a special election last November. The video was first posted to the the Ouachita Citizen's website on Monday. Later on Monday, McAllister released a statement "asking for forgiveness."

The blurry video — which was seems to be recorded from security footage of McAllister's district office in Monroe, Louisiana on December 23 — shows the Congressman embracing and kissing a woman who has been identified by the paper as one of his aides. Although the video does not contain a clear close up of McAllister's face, reporter Zach Parker at the Citizen explained to the Wire that "we know McAllister. We know what he looks like. I believe he spoke to the Monroe Chamber of Commerce in that same shirt and jacket, too." The Ouachita Citizen notes that they obtained the video through an anonymous source, and identified both McAllister and the aide in question as its subjects. They also recognized the office shown on the video, which previously served as former Rep. Alexander's Monroe district offices.

Here's the rest of McAllister's statement in response to the video, according to the Monroe News-Star:

There’s no doubt I’ve fallen short and I’m asking for forgiveness. I’m asking for forgiveness from God, my wife, my kids, my staff and my constituents who elected me to serve. Trust is something I know has to be earned whether you’re a husband, a father or a congressman. I promise to do everything I can to earn back the trust of everyone I’ve disappointed. From day one, I’ve always tried to be an honest man. I ran for Congress to make a difference and not just be another politician.

I don’t want to make a political statement on this, I would just simply like to say that I’m very sorry for what I’ve done. While I realize I serve the public, I would appreciate the privacy given to my children as we get through this.”

McAllister will likely be under pressure to reconcile his alleged actions with the pro-family, Christian values campaign he ran to get into office in the first place. McAllister as a candidate had endorsements from the Duck Dynasty family, and ran a series of ads emphasizing his family and his 16-year marriage:

No question there is hypocrisy here concerning one's faith and value system....kinda like countries of predominately muslim faith being some of the biggest consumers of gay porn. Go figure.

Oh look now! More hypocrisy. The young female staffer has been fired, but Vance "penis" MacAllister gets to keep his cushy taxpayer job he lied to get. Cunts!

Apparently there is a lot of homosexuality in the middle east. One guy who's dad worked for an oil company in Saudi Arabia was warned not to wander around alone because he might be raped. I don't know. Maybe the rich guys get all the decent women because they can have more than one wife and the underclass males have to screw each other.

Except for the fact that they never have to resign from their jobs when they do it.

The same people who demanded Clinton's impeachment over a blow job. The same people who ended Anthony Weiner's political career, and he never actually had sex with anybody. Yet David Vitter, who literally fucked prostitutes with a diaper on his head, is still in office, still openly kissing KKKoch ass in town meetings, and getting literal applause from his constituents for doing so.

He's also from Lousyana, so don't expect this fool to go anywhere. You have to be black and literally keep cash in a freezer before they will kick you out of office down there.......

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal joined the state’s Republican Party in calling for embattled U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-La., to step down after a videotape was released of him kissing a female staffer who was not his wife.

“Congressman McAllister’s behavior is an embarrassment and he should resign,” Jindal said in a statement released by his office Thursday afternoon. “He says he wants privacy to work on his issues with his family. The best way to get privacy and work on putting his family back together is to resign from Congress.”

The call for McAllister’s resignation by Jindal came hours after party chairman Roger Villere stated the same thing, calling the Congressman’s actions “extreme hypocrisy” and “an example of why ordinary people are fed up with politics.”

“A breach of trust of this magnitude can only be rectified by an immediate resignation,” Villere said. “He has embarrassed our party, our state and the institution of Congress.”

The video first showed up on the website for The Ouachita Citizen.

Just two days ago, McAllister said he planned on running for a full-term in Congress. The filing deadline is in August.

McAllister is married and has five children. He won his seat in a special election in November to fill the seat of Rodney Alexander, who became the Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs.

He ran his campaign partly on a platform of family values, an advertisement showing him in his kitchen with his family.

“A video showing him engaged in conduct unbecoming a member of Congress, on public time, in a public office, with one of his employees, was the focus of the national press for days,” Villere said. “I call on Mr. McAllister to put the interests of his nation, state and party above his own and step aside."

It's so fucking strange. United Arab Emirates is one of the most technologically advanced countries with so many modern wonders including the worlds tallest skyscraper. Oh, but sharia law is still in place and you can still be stoned to death for being gay.

Advanced my ass.

Places like Dubai are morally reprehensible, a place where rape victims get punished for being raped. They use slave labor to build pointless shit using oil money. Importing mercenaries to do the clever stuff doesn't make them advanced.
