Has any one been watching the new Cosmos tv show ?
Its on fox ( or whatever the illegal streaming site you prefer)

The first couple ive watched are pretty good.
Can remember the original and still have a ratty old copy of the Sagan book.

Don't know why Creationists would have an issue with it... they not only left the door open to the concept within the new series... they even acknowledged that there's room for that train of thought within all the science given the absence of life for several billion years and it's sudden appearance in such a short time frame within the history of the known universe.

I love the new Cosmos. There certainly needs to be a stronger focus on science education in this country, so if kids are watching that, awesome. And yes, fundagelicals hate it because at least once an episode NDT mentions that the earth (and universe) is far older than 6000 years... blasphemy! :hee:

I never can get that , I can let slip peoples beliefs in intangible things .. As long as they arnt hurting others in that . But history stuff is a bit a of wtf for me .
