Had to Google the release date, it sounds a lot older than 2010.
He's obviously ridiculously good and seems to be a nice fella too but I'd need to be in the right mood to eat a whole one.
That said I prefer him to Satriani. -
That song is about 3 minutes too long. He is fantastic though. I have his first few CDs with him singing on them. He's actually not a bad singer. I prefer those to his straight instrumental records.

Those first two Mr Big albums ripped. Cheesy ballads excused. I still have the Flexi disc of Paul and Billy and Pat playing 'Screaming blues o mania'.Comment

The opening reminds me of the beginning of "Green Tinted Sixties Mind". To me, that ain't a bad place to start. Somewhat reminiscent of them Vinnie Moore albums that showed up in the record store every two or thee months or so back in the 1980s, yet with a tangible amount of more soul and gift applied. (Nothing against Moore, but listening to his albums was pretty much like eating macaroni and cheese every day for roughly two-three weeks.)

I have King Of Clubs and Beehive Live. Buncha good songs.
We went to a Gilbert clinic just after he left Mr. Big. He was onstage with two stacks and an ADAT for backing tracks, did a cool cover of Benny and the Jets. Probably some of that sweep picking, I don't remember.Writing In All Proper Case Takes Extra Time, Is Confusing To Read, And Is Completely Pointless.Comment
