I don't have time to watch all that but the supreme court is currently debating whether cops should be able to search your phone without a warrant. This is really important for you because if they say it's fine then that would mean if you got done for say a faulty light on your car they could routinely upload your phone to a database.

In the extract I saw a lot of the judges seemed to not know what a smart phone was. They were equating it to a cop seeing a picture in your wallet. One of the judges admitted they couldn't use a smartphone because they couldn't work the password.

This is where the job for life thing really becomes a problem. These guys may not realize that someones whole life can be on their phone. One of the judges said something along the lines of 'well no one forces people to take their smartphone out of their home'.

It seems to me that the 4th Amendment is one of the most important freedoms you have in the US and maybe more newsworthy than a 80 year old billionaire saying to hid black whore girlfriend to stop putting pics of her with other guys online.

His girlfriend is a black whore ??

You're full of info tonight, eh ??

FORD

Well, technically she's a bi-racial whore, but let's not split hairs over it.

Besides, the focus of what Malloy was talking about in the above clips - as well as the article he's referring to - was about not only the corporatist enabling parts of the current BCE court (Shittizens United parts 1 and 2) but also the religious theocracy enabling tendencies of this court, such as seen in the recent Hobby Lobby case and the decision to allow formal prayers in government meetings.

And also the fact that these decisions are very troubling to most Americans, as a recent poll proves.

Prayer is troubling ??

No, but theocratic fascist dominionism is.

Here's what JC had to say about praying, BTW......

Matthew 6:6-8

King James Version (KJV)

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

So why do you want to pray in public like a heathen, instead of doing as JC said to do?

Who said I want to pray in public, your boyfriend Krusty ??

Since people live so long now, maybe we should have a fixed amount of years justices serve. The life term ends up with an old out of touch court.

We changed our life terms for senators to age 75.

Well, denying the Creator and being one's own god is a bit troubling to me...

Prayer works, whether you believe it or not...

And I'm not one for praying in public, but it shouldn't be infringed upon...

Wishful thinking (prayer) is a mental illness:

Looks like you picked the wrong thought, loser...

Prayer isn't wishful thinking...

Prayer is talking to God...

Wishful thinking is when losers like you run out of government weed...

Buit I'll pray for you...

Yes it is.

Prayer is talking to God...

So "talking" to an invisible person is not a mental illness? I have a feeling you'll know this soon enough when you see it all the time when you become homeless. After all, your parents can't keep you in their basement forever, right?

Wishful thinking is when losers like you run out of government weed...

"Government weed?" Is Lockheed, McDonalds, Halliburton growing their own weed now? News to me.

Buit I'll pray for you...

No thanks. Pray for your social worker instead. See if they can get your medication adjusted.

We changed our life terms for senators to age 75.

I think we should have term limits on our senators. We have them on the president. Two things would change politics in the US for the better. Low caps on campaign finance so it's not just a rich man's club. They are now spending $2 billion to get US presidents elected. Once you even the playing field there you have term limits on the congress.

Of course it will take a constitutional convention to clean up the federal government but it needs to be done. The idiots in Washington are taking us to the brink of financial ruin and the only thing that kept World War III from not happening is the UK didn't go along with the invasion of Syria and Vladamir Putin isn't taking the bait in the Ukraine. All this monkey business has just brought on the inevitable. Asia being the top economic center in the 21st century. Go ahead and stir the pot in Vietnam and Thailand, it won't stop it from happening. Neither will causing a ruckus in the Ukraine and Syria.

All it will do is isolate the US more on the world scope of things and our economy will suffer. All because a bunch of old psychopathic fuck heads want a war economy and want to rule the world with massive military power and endless petrodollar financing. Well, you can do that when its a secret. The emperor has no clothes now and it's obvious. I'm afraid the mad bull is going to tear the hell out of the china shop before it's put down. We are going to see more damage before it gets better. But that's human nature. A crises needs to happen before people get it. I just hope the body count is not too high. Things could get very nasty.

All I can say is NATO has behaved very badly in the post soviet era. Without anyone to check it, it just became the geopolitical muscle for oligarchs. It became the muscle on the grand chessboard. What happened in the former Yugoslavia was terrible. What's happening in the Ukraine is shameful. It's pretty obvious when people like Joe Biden's son and buddies of John Kerry get key positions in Ukraine's largest energy company. They are going to rob what's left of that country and hope to threaten Moscow from their new stolen dirt. This isn't about helping the people of the Ukraine. Hell lets shoot some of them and blame it on the russians. It's bullshit.

The joke is they think they can hide it still. Well you can when most of your population can't find the Ukraine on a map and only care about their own selfish interests.

You people don't get Elvis at all. He's spent the last decade building an Ark. God told him he was pissed off again and he was going to flood the earth again and cleanse it of the vermin in San Fransisco, London, New Orleans, and New York. He's just having a hell of a time finding two of everything and catching them.
