We're starting to see these where I live (pompano beach).. I get that they can be used to spot criminal activity, but how much longer until I start getting speeding tickets in the mail from the eye-in-the-sky? Anyone else getting these in their neighborhoods? I'm not a fan..

Yeah, this is gonna get fucking creepy. Anyone with a few thousand bucks and a severe perversion can buy one, fortunately the FAA is coming up with some strict rules on their usage but prolly not strict enough....

If I ever see one of these over my property I would consider getting a gun...

That's the first thing I thought of too.. It's just a matter of time before someone takes one down.

$479 on the Amazon. Add a GoPro for another two hundy...spend the rest on beer, lotion, and tissues.

I've been a R/C flyer for years and I remember when the whole camera equipped copters and FPV (first person view) started popping up. I predicted then that these things would cuntribute the death of the hobby because of people's natural propensity for stupidity. Misuse of these "toys" would cause the Govt. to step in to regulate the activity. Once the Govt. get involved , it's gonna be pretty much fucked

The really creepy aspect is these drones will be heavily armed themselves --- and shooting back at whomever tries to blow it out of the sky.

SkyNet is starting --- we're living in a scary machine age where you can be terminated with extreme prejudice and have no idea who pulled the trigger --- I think within a couple years, some poor dude is gonna be the first person ever murdered by a civilian-operated homemade killer drone like this one:

As soon as you lower the personal cost of war the easier it is to wage war. Automated carnage. Then of course once you start fucking with other people they will fuck with you back. In time everyone will have their own hunter drones.

Really. People haven't changed since cave man days. Instead of throwing rocks and using clubs we use drones.
