Why fuck me. Appears their entire back catalog has been reissued:

I saw this the other day and had to pick it up. For a reissue, it's nothing great other than the more louDER sound quality than the Warner Brothers originals. Contains no new or unlreased tracks which is great (in some instances) but rather a live recoding from when the band was in London around 1978 which is superb and you can gather that these spudboys had a lot of energy back in the day.

I was so impressed I placed the remaining discography on Warner Brothers on order:
Duty Now For The Future
Freedom Of Choice
New Traditionalist

These four recordings were, at least to me the apex of Devo's creative spirit. All of them worth picking up.

So is this another one of those cheap boxsets WB has come out with lately, where it's the entire back catalog for like $20 or $30 (depending on how many albums involved) but just CD's of the original albums... no bonus tracks, no fancy box, or books/posters/any of that shit.

No. These are individual CD's. If they are available as a box set I haven't seen it nor would I be surprised. Not all box sets are bad. That Judas Priest one was quite good as were the Dylan and Miles Davis ones

How have I never heard that before? Neil Young & Devo???

Must have been from Neil's "identity crisis" period when he was signed to Geffen records and changed musical genres completely with every album (country/rockabilly/"new wave"/etc.)

Start with Are We Not Men? Actually, any one of their original 4 recordings while on Warner Brothers were quite good. You cannot go wrong with any one of them.

I don't care if people got duped in 2008. The flesh is weak. My question is are you still on board now?

I must say. It is fun looking back at the old Obama fever watching all these saps buying into the dupe. If I was Obama I would want to piss on them all for being such gullible saps. See this is why the earth is warming up and the weather is changing. The earth wants us gone. It no longer can tolerate the stupidity. Oh and the earth is going to be entertained by all our infighting and useless science. It shits bigger than we do and it's time for us to fuck off.

I have Devo on original vinyl. Sounds fine. I only listen to them when I'm feeling nostalgic, but that's okay. I don't need reissues.
