You do all realize Krusty is not real, don't you?

I expounded upon this a couple of years ago. She is just a software add-on package for Ultimate Bulletin Board software. The generic term is "hatebot".

Here is an example that is far more sophisticated than Krustybot. It is a fake Captain Kirk bot:

The problem with Krustybot is that the programmer is mentally challenged. He wanted to create artificial intelligence, but he actually created an artificial idiot.

Even though he knew it was a failure, he decided to release the software anyway, because he figured it would amuse people by it's sheer irrational stupidity.

Here is a typical website where people can learn to create their own bots:

Here is a study of a more advanced version of an S & M robot:

Here is a much superior version of a hate bot:

The Krusty sometimes almost seems human. But it is all too easy to realize that it's programming is so lame that it cannot function as well as even the most simple hatebot.

The Krustybot wishes to demonstrate it's lack of intellect by publishing a photo of a tumbleweed....indicating it's lack of intellect by comparing its own intelligence to that of a dead plant.
It's actions are quite irrational, but again, it is due to faulty programming on the part of the mentally challenged kid at a Special Ed school who was given the task of creating a bot that can demonstrate mental retardation.
