James Bond will return in SPECTRE. Joining Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Rory Kinnear are Christoph Waltz, Léa Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista and Andrew Scott.

Spectre will be the title of the 24th official James Bond film, its makers have announced.

Director Sam Mendes revealed the title at a launch event at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, where principal photography is due to begin on Monday.

Daniel Craig will play 007 for the fourth time in the film, to be released in the UK on 23 October 2015.

Other cast members were also announced at Thursday's event, which was beamed around the world.

Christoph Waltz (left) and Monica Bellucci (r) will join Craig in Spectre

They include Sherlock's Andrew Scott, as an MI5 employee called Denbigh, and Guardians of the Galaxy actor Dave Bautista, playing a henchman called Mr Hinx.

Italian actress Monica Bellucci and France's Lea Seydoux have been unveiled as the new Bond girls, named Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann respectively.

As expected, double Oscar winner Christoph Waltz will play a character called Oberhauser in the film.

The name of the character is the same as that of Bond's former ski instructor, though it has been rumoured Waltz will really be playing Bond's old nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Spectre - Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion - was the name of the international crime syndicate, whose 'Number One' was Blofeld himself.

The organisation featured in the Bond films of the 1960s and was part of a legal tussle with a rival film producer that was recently resolved after many years.

Thursday's event also saw the unveiling of the Aston Martin DB10 which Bond will be driving in his latest screen adventure.

Returning cast members Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnear were also presented before the world's media, alongside Craig himself.

Craig, 46, first played Ian Fleming's legendary secret agent in 2006's Casino Royale, then in 2008's Quantum of Solace and 2012's Skyfall.

According to the film studio, the plot will see "a cryptic message from Bond's past send him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation.

"While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre."

http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/79507000/jpg/_79507273_full_cast.jpg

The 007 production will be based at Pinewood Studios and on location in London, Mexico City, Rome and Tangier and Erfoud, in Morocco.

Bond will return to the snow once again, this time in Solden, along with other Austrian locations, Obertilliach, and Lake Altaussee.

Bond producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said they were "excited to announce Daniel's fourth instalment in the series".

They also said they were "thrilled that Sam has taken on the challenge of following on the success of Skyfall with Spectre".

Well, the video was kinda short.

But this kicks all kinds of ass. I'm glad they are taking the series back to its roots. It was nice to see the new M in the office from the old days at the end of the last movie. And I hope they do bring back the Blofeld character.

I think it's a fair guess that Christoph Waltz is going to turn out to be Blofeld.

For fans of Bond there is a fun podcast called James Bonding where a couple of guys dissect each movie in turn, I particularly enjoyed the Goldfinger episode where they have 2 feminists who have never seen a Bond film watch it. They are fairly appalled by the idea that a lesbian just needs thrown about a bit and sexually assaulted to mend her ways. :)

Firstly she was a post op transsexual not just a guy dressed up.

Thirdly, did you just call Monica Bellucci a trannie? Are you out of your fucking mind?

Why she's more than half the age of most of you around here.

I was around the age you are now when I started posting here, here's the bad news time speeds exponentially as you get older and it's continually surprising in a bad way.

The only slight defence against it I find is to hang around with people a little older than yourself as being the 'kid' of even a bunch of old farts is softens the blow but I see you are doing that already... :)

I would have thought a progressive girl like yourself would be fully supportive of Monica being the oldest ever Bond girl at 50 - the second youngest was Pussy Galore 40 years ago who was about 37.

The next Bond will be the first to be younger than me and that's already upsetting. :)

It's not the age factor that I care about. I see more as a positive angle since so much of what centers around these boring Bond movies is bland (s)exploitation of women - particularity young women. Craig is no spring chicken himself and maybe the producers of this film are catching up with the times that many in pop culture are aging but my problem is...Monica is not that great of an actress. She was painful to watch in that Matrix shit. But then again, that whole trilogy was painful to watch. Others of [her] generation could fair better in this film besides her.

Seshmeister

Weird - I was about to call you out on Bellucci's acting and checked IMDB only to realize I haven't actually seen her in very much. She seems to do populist trash that I don't watch plus art house foreign language stuff which I also rarely see.

I only ever managed most of the first Matrix movie. I totally get people not being fans of Bond movies, I think Casino Royale is objectively a good film but at this point most of the older stuff is of it's time. I've been revisiting them over the last few months for nostalgic reasons and they always reflect their times.

Looking at them now there is some seriously weird stuff. In Thunderball Bond is at a health spa and propositions the female member of staff which is bad to start with, she resists saying absolutely not I don't want to have sex with you. A villain creeps in and sets the traction machine he is on to 'super dangerous kill you level'. We'll skip over why you would have a 'super dangerous kill you level' on a piece of gym equipment. Anyhoo this makes Sean Bond black-out prior to death we assume. He is awoken by the aforementioned attractive female spa worker who saves his life and releases him while apologizing for what has happened. Bond replies saying that if she now agrees to have sex with him he won't report her and make her lose her job. Cut to him post rape/sex as he leaves her with the line 'See you later'.

This is stuff that is just too dark for Austin Powers to go there, top 3 Bond rape... :)

The thing is that this is the closest to the original books Bond you get. The Bond of the books is a nasty bastard reflecting the author who was not a nice guy at all.

Of course I'm saying all of this as big James Bond fan.

I liked Bronson as Bond, but I think he hung on a bit too long and was over the hill a bit and should have become M or something. I do like Craig, as he's sort of a contrast as a more serious Bond and is probably as close to the novel Bond as Connery was - I recall the character is a bit of a serious manic depressive with a conscience that doesn't always drink martinis with his pinky out. I think he's doing shots of tequila in From Russia With Love after killing a Mexican drug dealer because he feels like a common whore-assassin...

Die Another Day could have been the best Bond movie ever, but half way in it goes completely off the rails. An invisible car?? And it was virtually indestructible?? Then you've got the whole North Vietnorean colonel who somehow gets morphed into the worst snotty Brit stereotype ever to grace a screen and then he turns into Robocop?? Even Brosnan was disappointed with the film and said so.

I like Craig as Bond. And I like that they basically rebooted the series and took the time to develop the character (as much as they have, these are Bond flicks after all).

Bond’s Aston DB10: the real story
TG exclusive: we interrogate Aston design boss Marek Reichman for the inside line on the 'Spectre' star

Sam Philip
15 December 2014

http://www.topgear.com/uk/imageresize/image.jpg?OriginalImageUrl=%2fuk%2fassets%2fcms%2f bd0fd339-b133-43dd-a677-72a51af7e87a%2fLarge+Image.jpg%3fp%3d141215_04%3a2 5&Width=600&Height=339

"Sam Mendes wanted this to be the poster car for every boy who watches James Bond for the first time," says Aston Martin design director Marek Reichman. He's discussing the conversation with Spectre director Mendes that led, eventually, to the DB10, Daniel Craig's company wheels in the 24th Bond outing, which reaches cinemas late in 2015.

"My interpretation of that was that Sam was talking about a brand-new DB5," continues Reichman in an exclusive chat with TG. The DB5, of course, was Sean Connery's ride in 1964's Goldfinger, a gadget-laden masterpiece that established the Bond-Aston love affair and remains, for many, the archetypal Bond car. But, says Reichman, the DB10 doesn't revive its predecessor's gadgetry, but rather its philosophy.

"The DB5 is pure, it's simple, it has a grille to die for. It's a scalpel not a kitchen knife. That's what Sam wanted, for this to be Bond's simple, pure Aston Martin, just like the original DB5 was."

To reinvent probably the most famous Aston - not to mention one of the most famous film cars - of all time. Not much of a challenge, eh? But, TG asks, this isn't a mere pastiche of the original - a la Fiat 500 - is it?

"Absolutely not," says Marek. "We don't do retro design. Sam said, ‘We don't want a parody, otherwise why not just get an original DB5?' This had to be modern and unique, the future generation of what the DB5 was..."

So what is the DB10? "The underpinnings are V8 Vantage," admits Reichman. "But it has a longer wheelbase than the V8, and an incredibly wide track, almost the width of the One-77. The engine is exactly as you might expect, a 4.7-litre V8... but maybe there's something there you won't expect."

Eh? TG asks Marek to elaborate. A long pause. "We want to focus on what James Bond's hands are doing. That may give you a hint..."

An automatic gearbox? Cruise control? TG assumes the unexpected element may be a little juicier than that. Marek, like any MI6 operative worth his salt, is giving away no details.

"When the car was unveiled by Sam, it was introduced as ‘the first member of the cast'. It has a big part to play in the story. It's going to do some things you might not expect."

Ooh, does that mean juicy gadgets, then? Rocket launchers? Hedgehog cannons? Another long, long pause. "I wish I could tell you," grins Reichman. "Let's just say... there's a relationship they [Bond and the DB10] have, and not in the way that he has a relationship with the Bond girls. That relationship becomes apparent in the movie..."

Best guesses below, TG.commers. Nothing smutty, if you will. Thankfully Reichman's rather less cryptic when explaining how the DB10 develops Aston's well-established design language.

"It has a very extended hood, with a short wheelbase. The cabin sits a long way back, and there's a very simple, elegant line that runs down the side of the car. It's a hard, sharp line."

He's particularly proud of the DB10's front end, a front end apparently inspired, in deliciously Bond-villain fashion, by frickin' SHARKS. "The grille doesn't sit on the upper surface in any way," Marek explains. "It's all on a negative surface, like a shark's face. This car has the lowest nose that we've ever produced."

TG cannot be alone in hoping for a scene in Spectre that sees Bond edging at 5mph down a speedbump-packed London street, wincing as that low, low nose skirts ever closer to sleeping policemen...

Anyhow. Does that sharky aesthetic, TG asks, reflects the darker side of Daniel Craig's Bond, the move from cheesy one-liners to tortured soul-searching since the 2006 franchise reboot in Casino Royale?

"Daniel's Bond is closer to the original, darker Bond," agrees Marek. "He's very much an athlete, and I wanted the car to have a similar appearance. It's a predator. I wanted this car to look like a hunter."

It's dark in a very literal sense, says Marek. "The grille is all in shadow. There's a darker feeling to the car. On the inside, it's very technical. It has a... not a sinister feeling, but a very machine-like feeling to it."

So why, if it's based on a V8 Vantage rather than a DB9, is this car called DB10? "Because it's a modern interpretation of DB5," explains Marek. "The association of Bond is with DB cars. The underpinnings of the Vantage are only there to create the car. It doesn't share the proportions. We have so little time to create the car, you have to use what's in your toolkit."

So it doesn't point to the styling of the DB9 successor, then? "It's very much a ten-off car for the movie," says Marek. "Of course we're going to take some influences from it, looking forward. Why wouldn't we? But it is a movie car, a new-from-the-ground-up car for James Bond that has the iconic association the original DB5 had with Connery. This becomes Daniel Craig's car."

Will any of those ten cars be for sale? Afraid not, says Marek. "They're solely for film use. Some may get destroyed. They'll be treated harshly, used in real stunts. When you see the car in the movie, it's not CGI. It's got a real driver in it. It's being pushed to its limits..."

The Coolest Car In The Next Bond Movie May Be The Villain's Jaguar

James Bond is getting a limited-edition Aston Martin for the upcoming SPECTRE, but the bad guys may get something even better: the Jaguar C-X75 Concept.

Autocar reports that the holy crap why don't they just build it coolest concept car in years Jaguar is going to star in the next Bond movie as the villain's car.

The key difference is that the C-X75's hybrid drivetrain is gone. The concept, of course, had a supercharged and turbocharged 1.6-liter engine with additional plug-in hybrid drive for a total of 850 horsepower. At least that's what Jaguar's press office claimed.

In any case, the fairy dust PHEV concept drivetrain got torn out in favor of the company's standard 500 horsepower supercharged 5.0 liter V8, which does sound badass.

Beyond James Bond points out that Jaguar has neither confirmed nor denied Autocar's report, though the role does make sense for the company. They are in the midst of a 'good to be bad' ad campaign, and there's no better bad guy role than being a Bond villain.

This new take on Bond is a exact copy of those Vin Diesel movies were he is blind and fight real tough giant space monsters.

It is like Bond has no appeal other than a slasher flick and I believe Diesel would be a better fit in these scripts than Craig.

Bond has become a thug flick..same generic shit as most other B-Movie tough guy movies.

Saw it tonight and thought it was very good.

Looks amazing as it should considering the crazy amount of money spent on it, all the actors do a great job and there is a lot for Bond fans in there. The pre title sequence is one of the best ever.

It's not absolutely perfect though, some silliness and plot holes but overall I highly recommend it. I'm not sure how I would rate it compared to Skyfall and Casino Royale, I'll need to think about that but it's definitely in the same ballpark.

My original plan was to go tonight to the opening and then take the family later but they all wanted to see it.

I may go one more time depending on how inspired I get when the US podcasts hit. :)

It's long though, not Lord of the Rings long but just about the longest Bond at 148 minutes - because it was so busy tonight I broke my golden rule and had to sit through trailers tonight so that we all got decent seats. I hate the amount of spoilers in trailers these days, Spectre suffers a bit from it but not fatally just good lines - to be fair to Star Wars they are doing it right so far at least. There was a trailer tonight to a Di Caprio movie tonight called The Revenant that I don't need to go and see now, looked like the whole movie was in the trailer.

As far as the release date goes, now you know how we usually feel when the US release is early. It does mean that there will be cam shot bootlegs available on torrent sites - you would be fucking insane to watch one of them as this is not a film you want to watch a shitty quality version of.

It's gone up tonight at 8.3 on IMDB.

I was back at the cinema tonight at the super big 18 screen complex to see Sicario and 10 screens were showing Spectre half of which were sold out a couple of hours early - I think Spectre is going to do ok. Feel free to do so now. There is no way in hell I can sit for 3 hours in a theatre to watch a fucking movie. I haven't watched a Bond movie since Roger Moore was Bond. Besides, I prefer Matt Helm to Bond.

You mean to tell me that a book about midgets and magicians is culture and conveys enlightenment to the human race?? What, did you become a Scientologist or something?

First of all, although there's wizards in it, they're more like the wise type of wizard, they're not farting fireballs all over the place or flying around in broomsticks or prancing around like little faggoty limp-wristed boys.

Second, although there is elements of fantasy in the story, it's mostly about grabbing hold of your balls & do whatever you can in the face of overwhelmingly & practically insurmountable odds.

Third, it's a book that treats children like normal people, not little retards who will grow up to be bigger retards. It's a children's book, and the fact that some people don't consider it to be so is a good example of the abhorrent infantile behaviour of what passes for adults these days.

And to finish it off, it's the modern basis for every fantasy story ever written since then. Some of which even an uncouth savage like you may have enjoyed. You think George Lucas just pulled Star Wars out of his ass?

Just read this joke which must be pretty old at this point but it did make me laugh...

Sean Connery was interviewed by Donahue, and bragged that despite his 72 years of age, he could still have sex three times a night. Kylie Minogue, who was also a guest, looked intrigued. After the show, Kylie said, “Sean, if I am not being too forward, I’d love to have sex with an older man. Let’s go back to my place.” So they go back to her place and have great sex. Afterwards, Sean says, “If you think that was good, let me sleep for half an hour, and we can have even better sex. But while I’m sleeping, hold my balls in your left hand and my dick in your right hand.” Kylie looks a bit perplexed, but says, “Okay”. He sleeps for half an hour, awakens, and they have even better sex. Then Sean says, “Kylie, that was wonderful. But if you let me sleep for an hour, we can have the best sex yet. But again, hold my balls in your left hand, and my dick in your right hand.” Kylie is now used to the routine and complies. The results are mind blowing. Once it’s all over, and the cigarettes are lit, Kylie asks “Sean, tell me, does my holding your balls in my left hand and your dick in my right stimulate you while you’re sleeping?” Sean replies, “No, but the last time I slept with a slut from Melbourne, she stole my wallet.

Just to clarify what happened in that scene. Bond is about to do her but Scaramanga's mistress Andrea Anders knocks the door so he sticks Britt in the closet. He then pins Anders on the floor and keeps molesting and kissing her until eventually she gives her consent(classic Bond seduction technique). Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. Forceful.

Look, I'm well aware that some women like to be dominated, but holding one under you against her will until you're inside her is probably not what they have in mind.

Where's the line, then? Do you think "Well, she came into my room & all the holes around her orifices were wide open, so that obviously meant she was willing to fuck. I know she said no & even scratched my face, but no means yes with women" will hold up in court?

I know it's only a character, but he's supposed to be the good guy! "Suck on this" is acceptable. "Shut up, I'm gonna fuck you no matter what you say or do" is dubious, at the very least.

I suppose if you rape a woman, you're a rapist... rape them all... you're a sex god!

Well, that automatically makes Matt Helm a shitload of a lot better than Double-O Rapist James Bond.

Now, who the fuck is Matt Helm?

Well yeah Connery did rape the lesbianism right out of Pussy Galore, no mean feat. :)

I'm gonna have to rewatch that one cause I don't think the lesbian angle was played up anywhere near what it was in the book. Seems like the only overt reference in the movie is Pussy wearing a Rolex 6542, which was a man's watch, but since she was a pilot it would make sense for her to be wearing a GMT.

In SPECTRE any time a woman has a close relative die, they get an overwhelming urge to fuck Bond so it's not really rapey just taking advantage of grieving people.

It's been a shitload of years since I read it but I think there is something in the book that was more about him seducing Pussy with his lesbian-destroying manliness they could only imply on film. But ironically, I think she says she wasn't really a full blown lesbian but hated men because she was enslaved and repeatedly raped as a teen and became a pseudo-dike out of anger. Bond then transforms her back to full blown bi when he shows her what a dick Goldfinger is...

I just read up on Mr Fleming. He loved woman. Married woman. He knocked up his first wife twice before he married her. She was married to someone else the first time. After he eventually married her he still fucked around with married woman. She fucked around too. Basically they were swingers. Not sure if she prefered married or single men.

No, you misunderstand. This is the 21st century. So if you troll for cock but say you identify yourself as heterosexual then it ain't gay. Just like if you're white and self identify as black. Or if you're 45 and self identify as 19. It's really awesome and opens all sorts of new doors.

Yes... yes it does.

'I've gone back to being a child': Husband and father-of-seven, 52, leaves his wife and kids to live as a transgender SIX-YEAR-OLD girl named Stefonknee (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3356084/I-ve-gone-child-Husband-father-seven-52-leaves-wife-kids-live-transgender-SIX-YEAR-OLD-girl-named-Stefonknee.html)

Stefonknee says her 'adoptive' family, which consists of an older couple and their children and young grandchildren, are completely accepting of her identifying as a little girl.

'It’s called play therapy. No medication, no suicide thoughts. And I just get to play,' she shares.

You see? Therapy. Of course.

He asked the kids to write him letters about their feelings, and read a letter from his son Peter aloud on The Transgender Project.

'Dear Dad, I feel it is very imbarassing [sic] to see you walk around like that. But if you rilly [sic] want it, it will be OK with me. Love, Peter,' read Stefonknee in the clip.

Yeah, this would be more than enough to justify asylums to taxpayers.

How the fuck can you accept this? So I'm 54 years old & I say "fuck my responsibilities as a human being" & everyone is fine with that?

The options are endless. Of course, I'm gonna use this for saxual related stuff. For example, if I want to go in the womarn's locker room at the local gym - nobody can say shit so long as I say I self identify as a 22 year old chick. Who is gay. And has a peenus.

Best thing of all? When I'm done, I can just curl up in a corner & go to sleep. No one expects a dog to talk about "feelings".

Not to mention I'm supposed, again as a dog, to have my bawllz hanging loose all the time. It's damn near perfect.
