Caught these guys at the French Quarter last night...

This one was really good being there...

Their sound man was awesome, filling the place with a great mix...

It's amazing how they packed the place on a Wednesday night and most other clubs had less than ten people hanging around...

Cocktail enthusiasts' opinions about the sweet and potent drink range from classifying it as a "terrible drink" (along with another similarly unique French Quarter cocktail, the Hurricane) to being "well worth the hangover". It is described as tasting "exactly like an Ecto-Cooler Hi-C drink, and will put you on your ass. Even the bar itself says not to drink more than 4 in an entire night.

That doesn't sound like a social drink to me, Mr. Presley. That sounds like a day-glo green version of the Long Island Ice Tea, a drink designed to not taste like alcohol, and get you shit-faced before you realize how much alcohol you consumed.

In the UK though you need to watch the staff pour the measures. Although it's usually 4 or 5 white spirits a lot of places only give half measures of each.

If you are over here and out in a bar or hotel it makes more sense to drink strong beer.

I drink vodka so end up having to put extra money into the pot to cover the same amount of alcohol when I'm out with friends.
