CHICAGO (The Borowitz Report) — In an effort to distance himself from the legacy of his brother, George W. Bush, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will use a major foreign-policy speech on Wednesday to assert that, if elected President, he would harm the nation in completely different ways.

“A lot of people are looking at me and thinking that I’m just going to be a rerun of my brother,” Bush told reporters before the speech. “They are greatly underestimating my ability to create chaos and destruction in ways that are uniquely mine.”

As an example, Bush said, he was unlikely to invade Iraq for a third time, calling such an action “too derivative.”

“George already did it, and Dad did it before him,” he said. “Call it my independent streak, if you will, but I want to spawn some disasters of my own.”

To that end, Bush said that he and his foreign-policy team were already scanning the globe for “new and different places” where the United States could become involved in open-ended and pointless quagmires.

“I see boundless opportunities for the reckless and totally optional insertion of American military force,” he said. “No offense to my brother, but there were a few spots that George missed.”

Actually, it would be the 7th BCE pResidency. They have controlled every Republican administration since 1952. (And a case could be made that Clinton and Obama are both "stealth" BCE puppets themselves.

I think that's enough. Hell, I think it should have stopped when Nixon was forced to resign!

The BCE has been in charge since 1981 and all but 7 of the last 63. (Kennedy 3, Carter 4)
An American success story.

If it comes down to Jeb vs Hillary, I hope that Canada gets rid of Little Stevie Wonderbush by then, and elects an NDP prime minister. Then I'm taking off to the Great White North....

Because moving from one right wing country to another wouldn't make much sense. If both countries are still under right wing corporatist occupation by then, it might be time to enact the Cascadian secession option.

For all the talk of what a power-mad badass he was, in the end Nixon slinked out of office with his reptilian tail between his legs, caving into the pressure of multiple investigations by a bunch of insipid democratic congressional members. Nixon didn't have the balls to let himself be tried in the Senate.

There are a few different theories on why Nixon quit. Most of them revolve around the contents of what was stolen in the Watergate break-in. Possibly including references to a certain event in November 1963, in Dallas.

He resigned to avoid further embarrassing the country because he was a patriotic American. Watergate was obviously a commie plot to discredit our government and he wasn't going to let that happen even if he had to fall on his own sword.

I heard it was because he fathered a child with a hippy chick in Washington state that was destined to become the liberal de tudi liberal. The liberal of liberals. Any guesses as to that person's identity?

If you are implying that my mom was a hippy chick, you couldn't be more wrong. Unfortunately.

And my dad wasn't Nixon. Hell, it's embarrassing enough that he voted for the crooked son of a bitch in 1972. Though it's the last BCE candidate he voted for, thank God.

Nah, Nixon didn't have a hand in killing JFK. Unless [Nixon] was REALLY clever in 1963 and over the next ten years became REALLY inept when it came to implementing the Huston Plan. Honestly, when you look at the character content of the crew Nixon surrounded himself with once he got to the WH (2nd rate hambones like Haldeman, Erlichman, Mitchell, Colson, Liddy, Hunt, Magruder and all the rest), Nixon's fall from grace was virtually preordained.

For all of the planted media blather regarding Jeb Bush being some sort of a learned policy wonk, I must say I haven't been rendered speechless in awe with any of the utterances Jebby has made thus far on the campaign trail, which in reality began for Jeb half a year ago regardless of his recent 'official' declaration.

I don't even consider him to be much above the fray of the overcrowded GOP presidential scrum, truth be told. [Jeb's] political instincts are such that the party might well want to consider running Mittens up the flagpole for a 3rd time for all the good giving Jeb the nomination will do for them.

Because he is a narcissist. With a smattering of superiority who truly thinks he is just a little bit better informed about most anything. When challenged he lashes out, a classic response from an N.

Jeb delayed his "official' declaration for the same reason damn near every "candidate" of either major party does, but the GOP is just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. Even if they somehow convince nonbelievers that they are not all about not spreading the wealth, Dubya's mind-boggling ineptitude will haunt them again this election.

Nixon wasn't directly involved in the assassination, but how much he knew before, during, and after would be the question. He was in fact, in Dallas that day, at a Pepsico board meeting. Pepsi happened to be one of the biggest customers of the Cuban sugar plantation that Prescott Bush owned before Castro nationalized the industry and threw him out. (Hence the "personal" aspect of the BCE's long term grudge against Cuba)

And E Howard Hunt - one of the "2nd rate hambones" of the Watergate break in - just happened to be one of the two men arrested in Dallas near the "grassy knoll" on 11/22/63. He and the other man, Frank Sturgis, were believed to be the shooters before the Oswald magic bullet patsy theory was constructed. That still doesn't mean Nixon was directly involved, just an illustration of how they all played for Team BCE from day one.

Obsessed? No. Intrigued by the depth of your brainwashing? Yes.
BTW: I'm writing a script for a tv show about The BCE. I've already got the perfect opening. The BCE. A shadowy flight into the life of an organization that does not exist. I'm casting Alfred E Newman as W. Would you like to play his doppleganger?
