Didn't watch it myself but I did read several of the candidates don't think the minimum wage should be raised and it's too high already. To that I say horseshit. $15 sounds a little high now but $7.25 is a bit low. IMO $10 an hour would be a reasonable figure right now. I think it's ridiculous shitloads of people make less than I was making when I first started in aircraft manufacturing damn near 25 years ago. The company I worked for paid 100% of my medical and dental insurance too.

I wondered if anybody else caught Trump's bullshit about 60 minutes in that debate. I knew it was bullshit right away because...

1) 60 minutes rarely, if ever, does live interviews, so there's no "green room" where he and Pootie could have met.

2) This was actually the first episode of 60 minutes I'd watched since the Lara Logan scam, not intentionally, but I was watching the Seahawks game on an east coast CBS feed, and it just happenned to roll right into 60 Minutes immediately after the game. Saw all of the Putin interview - which was taped in Russia (even though Pootie was himself in NYC by the time it aired) and got about half way through the Trump interview before the stream crashed, so then I got high and went outside to await the Blood Moon Rapture (which sadly didn't happen. Well at least the Rapture part.......)

It's not just politics. OJ Simpson was guilty as fuck and there was a shitload of evidence that was completely ignored including the fact he had a cut on his finger in the exact same spot one of the gloves did. It's quite possible even likely that Furman tried to manipulate the evidence to make it look like he cracked the case but there was plenty of evidence left that proved he was guilty. After the fact two of his lawyers, Shapiro and Kardashian basically admitted they thought he did it and one of the other ones slipped up during the Robert Blake trial and said the police tried to frame a guilty man in the OJ case. The physical evidence in the Mike Brown shooting in Ferguson got him aquitted but there's still a shitload of people that still think he is. Some people would rather believe a lie if it served them better than the truth every time.

It's pretty normal though, taking a step back from all the craziness of the OJ trial, that if the defence can show any police fixing of evidence the accused gets off whether he probably did it or not. It's a safeguard to the rest of us against being stitched up by cops.

I figure he found the bloody glove near the scene of the crime and planted it but how could he know Kato was gonna say he heard a noise behind his room prompting the other cop that went there to look back there and find the glove? One theory would be the other cop was messing with evidence too. Who knows, maybe Furman was telling the truth and the other cop that lying.
