Paedophilia is a “sexual orientation” like being straight or gay, according to a criminal psychologist.

The idea that sexual attraction to children is an “orientation” is highly controversial as it suggests that offenders cannot change.

But, writing on the Reddit networking website, the psychologist said it was possible to treat child sex abusers on “the understanding that the attraction may always remain”.

The psychologist set up the “ask me anything” thread on Reddit. Their identity was not revealed but was verified by the website.

Asked “can paedophiles actually change?”, the expert wrote: “I believe Paedophilic Disorder is a sexual orientation with individual that are attracted to child features. In other words, an individual with paedophilia has the same ingrained attraction that a heterosexual female may feel towards a male, or a homosexual feels towards their same gender.

Todd Nickerson began to suspect he was attracted to young girls when he was 13-years-old. At 18 he regularly babysat a five-year-old girl and eventually “fell in love” with her. Because he was molested at age seven, he knew the damage abuse caused and did not want to hurt the little girl. He packed up and left town so that he did not offend.

He later came out to his family as a pedophile.

Nickerson, now 43, says he has never abused a child and never will. He is involved in a website called “Virtuous Pedophiles” that provides an online discussion forum for people that are attracted to children but do not want to act on it.

“My purpose is to go out and educate people, allowing people like myself to come out and be open,” he said. “Society makes it harder by persecuting us because a lot of us become fatalistic."

Sonoma County authorities will seek to have John Mark Karr extradited to California to face child pornography charges on hold since he failed to appear for a court hearing five years ago.

District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua said the decision was made Monday after Colorado authorities dropped their case against Karr in the JonBenet Ramsey killing.

Karr, a one-time substitute teacher in Petaluma area schools, is wanted on a no-bail warrant issued by a Sonoma County judge after he failed to appear at a December 2001 court hearing in a misdemeanor child pornography case.

Sheriff's detectives said they found five photos of children in sexual situations on a computer seized from Karr's Petaluma residence in April 2001.

If convicted, Karr, 41, may not face any more jail time than he served in 2001, but he would be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

"John Mark Karr, a former teacher who was facing child porn charges at the time, falsely admitted to murdering the 6-year-old in 2006. DNA tests proved he was not at the scene."

Talk about trumped up allegations, lol. The "lady" making the allegations had her California lawsuit tossed out for a shit ton of reasons - one being that she didn't even provide an actual home address, in other words she lied about where she even lived. And if I'm correct, she was demanding 100 million dollars in damages in the California lawsuit but apparently is asking for 75 grand in the NY lawsuit. That's kinda odd.

What's really odd is she actually has a witness who claims to have worked for the real pedo in the story -Epstein- and that it was her job to "witness" these "rapes" with these underage girls. So according to these allegations, Trump is so friggin stoopid as to have not only come on to an underage girl, but he supposedly raped her in front of a witness. Really? Was he wearing a Klan robe and beating her with a Quran at the same time too??

Oh, and the supposed victim - what has she been doing? Well, someone claiming to be her has been trying to sell the story to whatever media outlet will pay, along with trying to sell pictures of herself.
