Just watching the news and it's looking a bit chaotic in turkey at the moment , the government are saying its not a coup but acknowledges some military action.

Bridges in Istanbul are in military hands as is the main airport .

Don't worry we can send in our wonderful new Foreign Secretary to sort things out.

I’m pleased to announce that we have a winner of The Spectator’s President Erdogan Offensive Poetry competition, and here it is:

There was a young fellow from Ankara

Who was a terrific wankerer

Till he sowed his wild oats

With the help of a goat

But he didn’t even stop to thankera.

The author of this winning entry is former Mayor of London and chief Brexiteer, Boris Johnson MP.

Turkey's international news outlet "TRT World" is off the air, and their local channel is broadcasting endless loops of the weather forecast.

Yep... nothing out of the ordinary here.

The number of countries in NATO makes me nervous sometimes.

I'm not sure most people realize that if Russia invaded Estonia for example then that's us in WWIII.

Same goes for Turkey.

The place is packed full of British tourists at this time of year, imagine a coup in Acapulco and you get the idea...

I'm reading elsewhere that this is the military pulling a coup as a "pre-emptive" strike to prevent another coup from Islamic fundaMENTAList wackjobs. I think the US military might do the same thing here if Ted Cruz and his 7 Mountain Dominionist Wackos ever took over. |Hell, they might even do it if Drumpf gets elected!

The secularists will always underestimate the level of commitment of the Islamist. Just like the slave/pseudo-left left they think, oh we're all the same deep down, we can work this out over a cup of tea.

Go fuck yourselves.

Stick to one character at a time.

If you want to play at being the Sarah Palin of the forum, fine whatever floats your dumb boat but don't start stealing from Bill Burr as well...

Anything's better than the dead pig fucker and slave bullshit. Self ban until you pull your head out of your ass.

I quite enjoyed Jeff's new work.

I do wonder why he continues to work and tour. I'd much rather stay firmly ensconced in my castle and re-release old material.

Much love,

JPP
