Did Donald Trump just give his most unintelligible interview yet?

Donald Trump has given what has been branded his most unintelligible interview yet.

The US president spoke to the Associated Press as he approaches his 100th day in the White House.

His critics have accused him of being the most inarticulate commander-in-chief (https://uk.news.yahoo.com/donald-trump-dangerous-mental-illness-say-psychiatric-experts-130707131.html) in recent history.

And they have gathered more ammunition from the full transcript of his interview with AP. (https://apnews.com/c810d7de280a47e88848b0ac74690c83)

There are 16 instances in the transcript in which a portion of Mr Trump’s answers are deemed ‘unintelligible’ – or where the audio recording of the interview is unclear.

Yeah, well, you know, duh!

Having watched and listened to a fair amount of the guy speak over the last 2 years, from my own observations Trump only becomes articulate - which, for him, is defined as being able to speak in a complete sentence without jumbled syntax - when he is insulting someone.

Otherwise, it's this string of half-thoughts rife with verbal ellipsis and self-interruptive interjections. I mean, W was mildly dyslexic and had periodic gaffes of spoken grammar, but Trump is in this bizarre class all by himself when it comes to the spoken word, which Philip Roth characterized in Trump's case as being limited to a 77 word vocabulary and more aptly called Jerkish rather than English.

I can't speak with any authority on Trump's mental state and if he has a psychological disorder or not, but hearing him speak off the cuff whenever he attempts a response that requires more than 5 words in a sentence it is clear he has (at the very least) a disordered thought process.

Meh.

She was front and center stage on tv in 2011 pushing those Obama Birther claims at the same time her husband was, which was a bit rich considering in the mid 1990s she was getting paid for modelling work performed in the US before she even had a work visa or papers permitting her to do so.

I'm all for giving First Ladies a pass to a degree in terms of the sins of their husbands if said First ladies have made it a point to stay out of the political arena re: causes and commentary. If they opt not to, game on. She stood beside her husband the whole time he ran his fear-mongering campaign from the first day they descended on their golden escalator and he ratcheted up the hate with his Mexican rapists comments. In for a penny, in for a pound. This applied to Hillary in the wake of her husband's transgressions.

The idea that she's some kind of prisoner in the Manhattan Trump Tower? Laughable. She'll end up divorced from him, just like the rest of Trump's wives. From Eastern European nude model to New York high end call girl to wife of a millionaire to First Lady, she's made a heck of a long walk from humble beginnings. She's not some half-witted hostage to Donald Trump. She knew what she was doing.

She could have cashed in her chips at glamour model level it's not like she was a concubine.

It's also encouraging to see a bad person winning financially but being completely miserable with the result. She's a poster girl for money isn't everything, imagine lying there being fucked by that fat sweaty orange nightmare dreading it ending because then you have to talk to it...

I bet she knows the prenup terms like the back of her hand verbatim...

See, Donald's marriage to Melania is just another example of how dumb he is strictly in terms of simple business sense.

The Wall Street crowd and Manhattan high rollers have a saying: "You're not paying escorts to come over, or even to talk: you're paying them to leave. You don't fall in love with them, and you certainly don't have kids with them."

I suppose I can't blame her in a way for cashing in HER chips via marrying Trump. The girl wasn't getting any younger. Plus, Trump wasn't QUITE the asshole he is today (well, yeah, he basically was, but he was an ignorable one back then), AND he gave her a kid which is also money in the bank should they reach Splitsville down the line.

Even so, I'm still assuming there must have been SOME kind of attraction for him to her. She was a pretty good looking woman, and could have basically had her pick and had a very comfortable life. It's just what you said, Sesh: what good does it do to gain the world and lose your soul? I mean, I assume she's not living in a bubble in Manhattan, thus she must know how much her husband is despised and I can't imagine all the riches she has make her feel good all the time in the face of that.
