Fox News anchor Shepard Smith is under fire from his own viewers after he debunked what the network dubbed the Hillary Clinton uranium “scandal.”

Some even suggested he ought to look for work at liberal rivals CNN and MSNBC.

Smith resuscitated the alleged scandal as Republicans on Capitol Hill again called for a special counsel to investigate Clinton.

He called the accusations against her “inaccurate.”

Fox News, President Trump, and his supporters have for months tried to claim a link between donations to the Clinton Foundation and the State Department’s approval of a deal that allowed a Russian company to purchase a Canada-based mining group operating in Wyoming, the Washington Post reported.

Trump called the alleged scandal “Watergate, modern-age.”

The accusations had already been widely dismantled, but Fox’s debunking of the scandal came as a surprise.

This isn't the first time that Shep has gone against the official FAUX talking points. I can't believe he's managed to keep a job there as long as he has. Reportedly, his boyfriend is a producer at the network, so maybe that producer has some serious clout with the Murdoch boys.

I think the Murdoch boys are a bit embarrassed about Fox News but it's making money.

It's so depressing looking at all the tweets saying Smith should be sacked for saying something that is just plainly true. You have even Sessions saying the same thing basically, just because you want something to be true doesn't make it so.

Even more irony from Sesh.

How? What did I say that wasn't true?

You need to get beyond this thing of supporting your team politically.

Anyone that gets to a position of political power has to be suspect from the start and the longer they are there the worse they get. They all have to lie and they are all different levels of bad.

The key point is the different levels, some are much worse than others. People have really forgotten how bad it can be, in fact how bad it usually is because in for the last 30 years or so things have been relatively benign compared to the usual.

16 US presidents had slaves and most raped them.

Churchill was horrendous, the kind of people who want to rule should never be allowed to.

Grow up. You think Trump gives the tiniest fuck about you?

This 'whataboutery' is as stupid as fuck.

If you think Trump is going to rebuild the US economy via coal mining you are stupid.

Repeating GW economics but a more extreme version hoping for a better outcome this time is nuts.

Mexicans aren't fucking up your industry, automation is and there is nothing you can do about that apart from getting better at it than anyone else.

I hear a harsh liberal comment flying in any minute now. ;)

That’s the most intelligent post Sesh has made since the election process started. Maybe he has finally laid off the Vodka long enough to have some clear peripheral vision.
