Aaron Sorkin: Trump is ‘a really dumb guy with an observable psychiatric disorder’

Hollywood director Aaron Sorkin slammed President Trump as "a really dumb guy with an observable psychiatric disorder" in an interview published this week.
Sorkin, who regularly criticizes Trump, told the Hollywood Reporter that he has no interest in casting a Trump-like figure in a reboot of his acclaimed political drama "The West Wing."
Sorkin is reportedly considering a standing offer from NBC for a return of the early 2000s show that features a fictional White House and Democratic president.
The director said he would prefer African-American actor Sterling K. Brown to play the president in a return of the show. The president would be facing "some kind of jam, an emergency, a very delicate situation involving the threat of war or something," Sorkin said, suggesting a leader with a closer resemblance to former President Obama in the hypothetical reboot.
The "West Wing" creator previously questioned Trump's mental health after his White House win last year, saying that the former real-estate mogul is a "thoroughly incompetent pig with dangerous ideas, a serious psychiatric disorder, no knowledge of the world and no curiosity to learn.”
