Now while it's true that Jim & Tammy got their start on The 700 Club, I don't remember he & Pat being the best of friends at the time of the PTL meltdown. To the contrary, i seem to remember Pat trying to distance himself from the Bakkers as much as possible, and even warning his pal Falwell to stay away (though Jerry pretty much acquired what was left of PTL after Bakker was sent to prison)
