Well, we can't endanger those arms' sales. After all, how can the House of Saud contribute to a humanitarian disaster and kill school children in Yemen if they don't get those American bombs?

If you are fine with the policy of selling bombs to these people then you should at least occasionally be subjected briefly to a tiny percentage of the results. 10 000+ deaths? I was going to say it's like selling assault rifles to insane teenagers but that doesn't even work as hyperbole in the US at this point.
Also note Obama sold over $100 billion of arms to these people too. The thing is we all know that the place is going to collapse at some point probably quite soon and all that shit is going to be pointed at us.
The UK and French government are of course just as complicit.

The sad reality is that the media is afraid to report the reality of the terrible shit that goes on in the Middle East, Africa and even Central & South America... Governments aren't forthcoming with encouraging any sort of comprehensive reporting. The grim scenes are captured/recorded... but instead of showing up in mainstream media reports with gruesome video or pictures of the destruction and loss of human life... we're fed bullshit circus acts involving some nerd's references to farting in his high school year book...
Growing up in the late 60's/early 70's I recall the nightly, prime time news reports showing some pretty gruesome combat footage from Vietnam on a regular basis. That was being fed into living rooms throughout the whole nation. Some of it today would be too gruesome to be shown during mainstream media broadcasts for fear of how it might impact children and the weak-minded.
Imagine how quickly the terrible stuff may come to an end if the carnage caused by our alleged allies/friends buying our weapons technology were piped into daily news reports unedited and raw as it happened. I believe most reasonable people in the US & Europe would rise up and say... no enough of that, no matter how many billions of dollars/euros are being paid.
