Fuck it! Running for President of Mexico!

If you want to preside over Mexicans, you can move to my hometown and be city manager!

Ha! Perhaps it's a bit strange, but we just don't have that many "migrant workers" here. There are some where I used to live in a farm town south of Buffalo, but just a few hands here and there. There is a traditionally Hispanic population on the West Side district of the city, but most are probably Puerto Rican. The only time I encountered a significant number of migrants was in Northern Virginia and yes they could be annoying, pushy assholes at time. But the mostly white upper classes that would need a three hour course to just operate a hammer needed them for their contracting and laborer needs...

The eastern end of the county is full of nurseries. There has always been a large Hispanic population, previously it was to the county east of mine. Now it's here.

There were quite a few Puerto Ricans in the school system when I graduated in '86. Thirty years later it's mostly Mexicans. The neighborhoods that were mostly African-American are now Mexican, you'd ride by the community center and it was kids playing basketball. Now it's Mexican kids playing soccer. My old high school probably won't have a football team in a few years, kids would rather play soccer now.

I don't see day laborers at the local Home Depot or Lowe's. There are some bodegas and authentic Mexican food places. I see ads on FB for the typical landscapers and then some concrete and drywall guys. The Amish build a lot of houses here, they're a county south.
