Sherrod Brown...not running.

This writer is stupid. Brown would never make it out of the primary.

Brown won his last two elections mostly because the Republicans ran shit candidates: Josh Mandel in 2012 and Jim Renacci in 2018.

Sherrod pretty much tanked his chances when he explicitly opposed Medicare for All. Though at least he was honest about it, unlike Scamala Harris, Borey Crooker and the rest of them who are pretending to support it at the moment, because they know that's what the base of the party wants. Not to mention 72% of the overall public.

Brown is probably still a better senator than most of the other so-called "Democrats", so he's probably better off staying there anyway. Jeff Merkley from Oregon - who was the only Senator with enough brains to endorse a REAL candidate in 2016 - also chose not to jump aboard the crowded clown car. This is a good thing, because if the Democratic ticket turns out to be Bernie Sanders & Elizabeth Warren, that's going to leave very few actual Democrats in the Senate.
