We have had numb skulls in charge of this country for decades. In my opinion the last competent president this country has had was Eisenhower. Kennedy had Adison's disease and was hiding it. Lyndon Johnson was a thug and a crook. Nixon had a nervous breakdown while in office and ended up having to resign because he got overly paranoid. Ford was a weak joke. Carter was a naive joke. Reagan was in the early stages of alzheimers during his presidency and was really not in control while he had crooks like Bush running things. Bush was a crook. Clinton was a corrupt horndog and tied with Bush. George W was a warmongering draft dodger who let neocon crooks run rough shod. Obama was another shady character. Like George W he was a mascot while others ran the White House behind the scenes. Trump is a windbag. He runs his mouth off and brags but when you look at his accomplishments it's a nothing burger. We are still deployed in the Middle East and Afganistahn and we still have troops in Syria. He's brought mad hatter neocons like Bolton into his white house. He has Israel's hand firmly planted up his ass.

So the amazing thing is the nation is still intact and hasn't broken up yet. Just lots of angry internet posts but the American public haven't taken to the streets killing each other. I think we have had a few brain damaged presidents. I don't know if Pence would be any better. He might start Armegeddon to speed up the second coming of Christ. So we have a braggart with bad hair but we could have gotten a psychopath who lies about her heath and falls down all the time. Cheeto just signed an executive order to get our power grid hardened against EMP attack. That has been needed for a long time. We currently are wide open for one. That will be a huge undertaking though. They figure it will cost $2 billion to get it done. To be honest. I don't think US presidents have that much power. They have been pretty much reduced to being a mascot. I don't think any president could start World War III because our military does not trust presidents. Oh they will follow orders to a point and play the game in order to not jeopardize the republic but as far as nuclear attacks go the president better damn well have a good reason.

Too be honest with you. The problems we have such as out of control spending (which Trump is part of the problem) isn't going to be solved by any of these people in office. The US has been coasting on it's past reputation for a very long time and frankly I think we are in a nose dive impossible to pull out of. What will happen is the spending will continue running past $30 trillion in debt. Something will cause the next market crash and panic will ensue. People will run to the US Dollar as they always do. There isn't another better currency. Then what? This time not only corporations and banks will want a bailout. States and cities will too. Of course The Fed can make all the money it wants on a computer. They just charge it to the US Government' tab adding to the debt. It's La La Land. That's what politics is right now. La La Land. The high tech industry is very much that way. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak got a lot of inspiration for the McIntosh by taking a tour of Xerrox Park. Xerrox's Silicone Valley R&D arm. That's where they say the mouse and the point and click interface. Bill Gates pretty much bought or stole everything Microsoft was built on. Bill's big moment is when IBM contacted him because they wanted to buy an operating system for the PC they were going to come out with. They were referred to Bill because the guy they wanted to see couldn't be reached. Of course Bill had nothing but he saw the opportunity and agreed to sell IBM an operating system. He them shopping around and bought QDOS (Quick and Dirty Disk Operating System) from some guy in Seattle. It became MSDOS when Microsoft changed the look of the C prompt. That's all they did. Then they licensed the operating system to IBM and reserved the right to sell it to anyone. Where Bill made his money was seeing an opportunity, finding a solution and being smart legally.

Fortunately I bought Microsoft shares and held them. Microsoft bought the house I'm living in. I think Bill Gates and Steve Balmer are dweebs. But hey, they made me money. A lot of money. I wish I would have bought Apple shares when Gil Armelio was running it and held them. Everyone including me thought Apple was going to be bought out and merged with another company. I looked like it was going to be Sun Microsystems and the joke is it was going to be called Snapple. Oh well. Who would have known Steve Jobs would have ran Armelio out of the seat, take Apple over and get the idea for the smart phone while eating lunch. Not everything Steve did was gold.
