Sorry Smaz I usually agree with you on a lot of things, but the SG isn't that nice a guitar (in my opinion). The devils horn effect and the fact when anybody who picks up an SG the first thing they play is TNT. And then they start doing the duck walk and the overall shape isn't that plesent.

And Angus Youngs one is even worse with the stupid tale-piece and whammy bar, that does not go with the guitar.

However it is very nice sounding, but it doesn't do anything for me.

I have a Silvertone Paul Stanley sig, A guitar my dad owned when he was a boy, 2 Les Paul Copys (black and Goldtop), acoustic that is broken and my wolfgang should be in my possesion in the next 2 weeks.

It was cheap and I wanted a new guitar, everyone has there own opinions I personally don't like the SG, It sounds good I'll admit but it doesn't do anything for me.

I understand you like AC/DC, but can't you except not everybody likes them. In my opinion all of there songs have the same bone dry tone. They've got the same problem as the ramones had when you hear one song you could sing about 10 different of there songsv along to it. Because they're the same tempo and basic structure. And when they're on stage you get Angus making out that he invented the duck walk. the same routine; hells bells a giant bell appears and they'll end on for those about to rock (what a suprise cannons, I didn't expect that). Also when you get to Angus unaccompinied solo all he seems to do is play some simple hammer-ons and pull-offs with one hand WOW, Volume swells Oh No and a little bit of tapping. I watched the AC/DC live in Donnignton video (meant to be there best performance) in my opinion it was just a little about average!

But they make music which they enjoy playing and that's all that matters who gives a fuck if people like me or tydhurst don't like it, everyone has there own opinions.

I understand where you're coming from. Some people like that sort of music that stays the same if it sounds good then keep it that way, fair enough. I just like music that varies but sticks to a certain style (e.g skynyrd, DLR, Classic Van Halen, Zeppelin ect). Don't get me wrong they have A LOT of talent they're just not my cup of tea.

And, don't get ME wrong, for I too love Zepplin (you actually misspelt the way they spell Zeppelin) and The Doors and Deep Purple. I am actually a huge prog fan-and love bands like Pink Folyd, Yes and Emerson lake And Palmer (I actually wrote a couple of prog songs for my mates band-they didn't use them because they thought they were too long at 9 and 14 minutes long), but it's not something I'd listen to for a good time. For a good time-when you go to a gig-you need a band like I mentioned above.
