Michael Moore excerpts from a speech he gave to Campaign for America's Future.
"The right wing is not where America is at," Moore said. "Most Americans, in their heart, are liberal and progressive. It's just a small minority of people who hate. They hate. They exist in the politics of hate."
"They're not patriots," Moore said. "They're hate-triots, and they believe in the politics of hate-triotism. Hate-triotism is where they stand, and patriotism is where real Americans stand."
"I mean, they are up at six in the morning trying to figure out which minority group they're going to screw today," Moore continued. "The hate, they eat for breakfast. They are going to fight and they are going to smear, and they are going to lie, and they are going to hate."
Moore conceded that there are "good Republicans." Those Republicans, he said, will vote for Kerry in November.

O'Reilly and Moore Face-off Over Iraq
Conspiracy filmmaker Michael Moore faced off with Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly Wednesday night, contending that no American in their right mind would allow their child to join the military to fight in Iraq.
Moore repeatedly challenged O'Reilly to say whether he would "sacrifice your child to secure Fallujah?"
The Fox host responded by saying he would go to fight himself, but that wasn't good enough for Moore.
"Say ‘I Bill O’Reilly would sacrifice my child to secure Fallujah,’" the left-wing movie man implored.
"I’m not going to say what you say. That’s ridiculous," O'Reilly insisted, before turning the tables on Bush-bashing film director.
Outlining the connections between al Qaida, Iraq and global terrorism, O'Reilly challenged Moore on whether he thought the U.S. needed to fight terrorism.
"Look it’s a worldwide terrorism - I know that escapes you . . . Iraq aided terrorists - don’t you know anything about any of that?"
Moore countered, "So you’re saying Iraq is responsible for what?"
"I’m saying that Saddam Hussein aided [terrorists] all day long," O'Reilly replied.
Sensing he was cornered, Moore shot back, "You’re not going to get me to defend Saddam Hussein."
"Why not? You’re his biggest defender in the media," O'Reilly charged.

Yes, he’s nailed us. The people who are voting for Bush are rabid “haters.” We are all racists, homophobes, war-mongers etc. I can see why people think this man is so brilliant. Bravo Mr. Moore.
Regarding his appearance on O’Reily. All I can say is this – Michael Moore, you are a fucking coward and how DARE you trot out the Chickenhawk argument and enhance it by putting a human price on a city in Iraq, you fucking Chickendove.
I’ll ask this question of him, "Say ‘I Michael Moore would sacrifice my child to secure free speech in Iran,’". If he’s unwilling to say that then he should shut the fuck up. Why? Because he is basically saying that Bill O’Reily, and others who support the war, have no credibility if they themselves are not willing to spill their own, or their families’ blood. Really? OK, then YOU sir have NO RIGHT to free speech unless you or one of YOUR family members is not willing to live and attempt to speak freely in a country such as Iran, North Korea or Syria. Unless YOU are willing to go through THAT sacrifice, thus showing us all that you’ve “earned “ your right to voice an opinion on the war then YOU should shut the fuck up also. What also enrages me (see, I’m hating now) is that he’s willing to sit on high, and say “this piece of property is not worth a life” ,”and this is also not worth a life”, “oh, this one is”. Who the fuck gave you that right? Hey dipshit, crack a fucking book open and read a little history. If you had ever done that, you’d see that there were many sacrifices made in war that some asshole said later on didn’t need to be made. By saying what you are saying you are taking a giant SHIT on any serviceman killed in action for a hill, a knoll, drainage ditch that, now in your brilliant hindsight, wasn’t really worth the effort.
