Yup, a fan too!
Btw, you guys dig the movie too? At least Val Kilmer was a perfect look-a-like for the role of Jim...

i recommend the new Morrison biography that just came out...i had it sent to me to review and will talk with the author...its a great read and shows just how truly messed up Morrison was ALL THE TIME. I didnt realize that the Doors had been a band for less than 10 years total from starting to signing to death.
I could never look at Val the same way after I saw the movie.
Kinda funny how someone so totally out of it could be that poetic. Morrison & co. will always be legends, be it in the rock world or otherwise. Yup, from music to Jim's leather pants, legends...:D

That movie paled in comparison to Jim's "actual" festivities.
:gulp:

Morrison...talk about the flame burning out quickly...almost had to be...
Yeah...they weren't together for real...but for 6 or so years of recording..amazing when you think about home much Morrison transcended rock and roll since...
