I know that most poeple here hate creed but you should check out Alter Bridge! Thay still have the Creed sound of course but I think most people just hate Scott Stapp. So anyway if you wanna check out some of there stuff heres a link to listen to parts of a few new songs. going to be tough to ever get out of the shadow of the CREED name but apperently they are not playing any of their older stuff, just going to focus on the new. Could be an interesting band but sound a little too much like creed to really get huge, although the new song isnt bad. they folded under stapp's ego

just listened to the "Find the Real" song, it isnt bad...reminded me a lot of early Soundgarden stuff. Alter Bridge will be interesting for a bit but in the small clips, I dont hear the hooks to stick around and be big

Not a Creed fan, but I'll have to give them credit for realizing the fact that you can't lose your frontman and remain the same band. They did the right thing by changing the name and claiming they will not play Creed songs live. Though I imagine they'll cave on that one eventually. Hell, even Pearl Jam plays a Green River or Mother Love Bone song on occasion.

The Lying Dutchmen could learn a lesson from these guys.

Well, guys today is it. I don't if you guys like the band or not but it's out today!! This cd really rocks if you liked Creed theres a couple of songs on there that sound like Creed. If you didn't like Creed the rest of the cd is for you!!!!

I thought Creed was pretty good. I think Stapp got bashed around because of his beliefs and not singing about cracking skulls; I don't care one one way or another and his lyrics don't bother me (Arms Wide Open was sappy). The guitar work is nice.

i give alterbridge half a tour before they are pulling out Creed song's live. Tremonti isnt a bad guitar player, tends to overplay on some stuff, but dont really like the new singer they got

So has anyone given these guys a chance yet? If not your missing out! Say what you want about Creed and Scott Stapp but give Alter Bridge a listen!! There a very very good band! You can still go to vh1.com but you can't listen to the whole cd anymore just parts of the songs!! They have some really good stuff on there. This cd rocks for start to finish!!
