I'm Drunk and my buddy comes home from the the Army today...and I have 5 days off, Do you beeeeelieve, don't you trust me???? Me wise Magic.

"you'll get, halfway from the interstate...four days from now...it all goes clear...a buddihist riff for your inner ear"

Yes it is a great tune. When I first heard it I said to myself they didn't miss a beat. It's like they were together all those years that they weren't.

Damn, MWM is a good tune. It fucking pisses me off that Dave would give a preformance like that, and then the fucking sisters would just say "that's all we were going to do with you."

Me Wise Magic is what got me so pissed off at Van Halen.

Imagine writing your favorite band off for pulling a Jefferson Starship.

Years pass.

You're driving down the road and this song comes on the radio....

Gee....That sounds like DLR....

Then the he gets to the "Reachin for the feet of God" part. Yep, that's Dave.

The guitar right before the chorus kinda kicks you hard... That's Eddie Van Halen!!!

HOLY SHIT!!!!!

They're back and they sound AMAZING!!

Then... having the whole goddamned thing pulled right out from under you.

Thought the song was great...a little bit better than "Can't Get This Stuff No More', too, even though that song was OK.

Me Wise Magic is my second favorite VH song of all-time! Second only to Mean Street.

Eddie played like a god on MWM and Dave's voice was kick-ass stellar. I don't see why they split after the CELESTIAL PERFORMANCE.

Im a CGTSNM kind of a guy. That song sent a strong messege to VH fans. Some still didn't get the memo and just enjoyed the tune.

Good point on the lyrics in CGTSNM

Yeah, in Me Wise Magic, as much as I do like it, I can hear alot of Hagar'ish tones to it.

Dr. Love

I dunno, during that whole '96 period, it seemed that the music that VH created was more 'on' that it had been during Hagar's whole tenure (I'm including Humans Being music in this, since I think it was in the same time frame)

I wish they would have kept Dave and just wrote a whole album of shit like MWM and CGTSNM, and let Dave do his own lyrics and shit for Humans Being.

Maybe it's just me,but I think "Can't Get This Stuff No More" is about Christie Brinkley.
