NEW YORK (Billboard) - Motley Crue members Tommy Lee (news) and Vince Neil (news) have signed on to star in separate reality shows.

Lee has inked a deal with NBC for a reality series centered on his enrollment in college. The still-untitled show is currently in development and does not yet have a premiere date. It will follow the former Crue drummer as he experiences college life at a university to be announced.

In 2002, Lee had a development deal with VH1 for a reality show, but the network declined to pick it up as a series and instead aired it as a special, "Tommy Lee: The Naked Truth." Lee's autobiography, "Tommyland," will be published Oct. 19 by Atria Books.

Meanwhile, Crue singer Vince Neil will star in MTV's "The Remaking of Vince Neil." The show, which will premiere on a date to be announced, will document Neil's attempt at a career comeback with the help of makeover specialists.

Last year, Neil was part of the first-season ensemble cast of the WB's "The Surreal Life," which chronicled the activities of various celebrities living together in the same house.

Motley Crue is reportedly eyeing a reunion tour for 2005. Its last tour with all four original members collapsed due to inter-band squabbling in 1999; Lee was absent from a 2000 outing.

I thought it was a no-go because Mick Mars has arthritic something or other

They sent Sam to Mars - the planet - on the 9th day of the 9th month of 1959

Since Vince Neil & Tommy Lee of Motley Crue fame are in my age group & will be in reality shows of their own soon I think it proves what I have said about most so called 80's rock legends which is their impact was mostly MINIMAL because it's more about MTV than the music & they will either be flipping burgers or pumping gas before too long never getting that second encore like 60's/70's rock legends like Sir Paul McCartney & Steven Tyler just to name a few.

ok!! wait a fucking min. motley have done it all!!! they got a movie coming out in 2005, a tour and i heard possible some new material. they have always kept us entertained. in some way or another. i got to admit they can be assholes but thats rock&roll. but for the people that remember them in their prime, they did all the girls, did all the drugs, broke all the laws. kept us asking "what will they do next" . motley crue has no rules no guidelines or template to follow, they are one of a kind. so if they want to do some bullshit reality show, i guess i would tune in and check it out. i would like to see dlr tour with motley or vince neil's band. i would pay to see that. dlr the headliner for sure.

Look...I'll always go and see Crue tour if it's the four original members...

I don't have anything for Motley with some goddamned chick drummer...

I don't have anything for Motley with some Corabi prick singin' songs with them...

but the true crue...that I'd go and see...

Its great Vince is getting his life back in order (He will quit drinking and see counceling) also get his health back by working out. As for Tommy show I think this has trouble written all over it. Think about it drunk women at frat parties, drunk guys wanting to take a shot at him. I will be suprised if this show ever airs, he is to loose of a cannon.
