Dave is the ultimate showman.

Just think about what he has pulled off here...

Replacing the King of all media, and actually coming up with an original radio show with no radio background whatsoever.

He gets turfed - probably set up from the beginning - and here he is...International stage, singing a cut from a new bluegrass tribute to Van Halen.

Pretty fucking cool.

C'mon Ed, Dave can make you a mint.

The ultimate promoter and showman. Best thing about Dave is that every CVH show I went to, I truly believed that Dave loved the other guys in the band. I'm sure there were problems, but he was always one to prop up his band mates at every opportunity.

This turnaround is impressive, even for Dave.

Great vocals on the cd and tonight.

Dave has large game.

He's done FOX, CMT, Leno and he's scheduled for Ellen Degeneres, The View and Conan O' Brien?

Fuckin' cool stuff.

But ALL of this promotion for a Van Halen, Bluegrass, Cover album that he only sings on like two tracks?

Personally, I think it's fucking outstanding. However, I don't understand the media blitz?

I actually really like the new cd, but I think of this media blitz as one big therapy session for Ed. maybe Barbara Walters can get Ed her show and make him cry...maybe the breakthrough he needs.
