I'll take a look Aah....at one point I had every GFTPM mag...from 1983 until they ended it as GUITAR mag...I'll see if I can find it...I also think that GUITAR WORLD did an article on it too...way back in the late 80's......which would be much easier than reading an entire book! CHEERS!

matty, that guitar mag you're referring to was a 'guitar' from the mid to late 90's; after it changed from those cheap paper 'gfpm's.
the cover was something like 'making money in the music biz'. i have it, too!!

Awesome DB! My step-son digs it too...so I see a LOT of it! Makes me laugh....I noticed that Jake the Dog is voiced by the same guy who did Bender on Futurama.....cracks me up!
