This problem is covered in concealed carry classes. If you have a gun in your hand and the cops come, they have no way of knowing if you are the solution or the problem. Of course lots of variables come into play but the bottom line is if you have a gun in your hand you are viewed as a threat. Of course the cops should tell you to drop your weapon and you better do what they say but there is always the chance a cop isn't going to wait and see if you turn the muzzle on him and he opens fire on you. Cops do shoot and don't shoot drills but the training varies. Mistakes happen when people are in dangerous situations and fear for their lives. Adrenalin and fear are a hell of a drug.Quote:
