Gun control on a mass level just isn't going to happen in the US. Too many guns and too many people who believe they have the right to own them. I've heard these arguments my whole life. In fact all this noise about guns just distracts people from the real problems like the poor academic performance most our high school students have. The US is becoming dumb. That's a bigger threat to our future than anything. Partisan bickering doesn't solve the problem.
