Dave could've have tried to get some pub of it, but he didn't, which means he did it for the right reasons.
Well shit, my company hosts a charitable event for Special Olympics, so everyone in our company must be doing it for the recognition, it couldn't possibly be to try and help another fellow human being.
And I am sure you were touting how great a guy Sam was for playing the benefit concert for the firemen in New York. Which you should have by the way, it was a noble thing to do, just don't try to make it that when Sam does it he is a stand up guy but when Dave does it he's a publicity whore.
