Other than VH (or not), who else are you all seeing?
I'll start in May. Got the Replacements in Columbus on the 6th and Jeff Beck on the 15th. Stones in Columbus on May 30th and probably Detroit and Buffalo in June, and then VH here and in London.
I haven't done three in a month in a long time, probably since I saw VH in Toronto, Cleveland, and Toronto again over a week in '07.

SunJam[13] - Early in August every year Utila hosts the largest electronic music party in Central America. DJs are flown in from all around the world, and the event draws a crowd of over a thousand from all over Central America. The entire week leading up to SunJam there are pre-parties and the island is crowded and buzzing with excitement. Note that it can be very hard to find a place to stay during this week. Got invited to Washington state to see Crue and Alice Cooper at the Tacoma Dome in July. Never thought much of them or their music but they put on a great show and they swore this would be their last tour, so it'll be an event worth checking out. (the factor that really sealed the deal was that there are at least 1,000 drunk sluts at any Motley Crue show).Quote:

I saw a few shows there when I was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Northern Illinois in 82. We used to drive to Kenosha, Wisconsin on a regular basis back then to party. One bar we used to hit was just a huge barn type building that served beer and wine that had live music. The tables and chairs were old electrical spools. I think it was called Rockit North.Quote:

A guitar player's summer for me.
Show #1 didn't pan out. Replacements shows in Pittsburgh and Columbus postponed due to illness. Supposedly Westerberg was sick in Detroit.
Jeff Beck a week from tomorrow. Seen some good reviews from this tour.
I am being dragged to an AC-DC concert...other than that I was thinking of catching a flight to see VH in TB or maybe Boston but I doubt it will happen...I am not excited that much about this tour...maybe it will change from the reviews.

Not sure other bands have got this principle.
I found it funny that AC/DC is playing Ford Field in Detroit, while the Stones are playing the smaller Comerica Park.
The Jeff Beck show was great, as was the Stones show two weeks later. I decided not to hit the other two Stones shows I had planned on, gonna be hard to beat that $40 ticket I got for the Columbus show. The Replacements show ended up being canceled and they broke up again.
