In the US, you can be arrested for just being and breathing air these days.

I don't want to piss on your parade, Mr. Sylicker, but copyright infringement is already a crime. Watch the warning at the beginning of a dvd.

I have yet to see the FBI bust in and arrest someone for making an unauthorized copy.

It's kind of like tearing off a mattress tag.

I think you have to be running a whole copying business. I know an FBI agent who busted a place. I don't think anybody gives a shit if you copy videos in your basement, least of all me.

Dude, we all know you're not exactly bright, but what THAT shit means, is that no proof is required to arrest you.

You CAN be arrested based on a suspicion, if there is ANY slight possibility of you infringing the law.

Such as buying a DVD. You're probably gonna make copies to sell.
