PRETTY COOL! The guitar player is badass, but that DLR clone looks like a goop. Are they wearing wigs??! Sure looks like it. What's up with that bass player?? He isn't even trying to fit in!

Another cool LA early VH tribute band that kicks ass is the Atomic Punks...Ralph the singer does a dead-on DLR and the guitar player is Russ Parrish, who also kicks ass....

Nobody can touch Ralph's DLR! And I'll put the other 3 punks up against anyone else musically. Dave's taken his last 2 guitarists from the Punks. (www.theatomicpunks.com)

Haven't seen Eruption, will check 'em out when I get a chance. The main thing is I give 'em major props for keeping Classic Real Van Halen alive.

I agree the Punks seem to be the best and most authentic out there... unfortunately being in Australia I don't have the fortune of seeing them. Only from RothArmy / gig reviews and their own website -most impressed

Here's our down under version of early VH tribute Band - In-Halen

    http://www.entertainmentdepot.com.au...rofile.php/102

The site is lame, but they have a short bio and some mp3s, with the exception of incorrectly naming "Teacher".

again kudo's for waving the early VH flag...
Go home the Earth is full....

Sambo, a couple of months ago I was at a Punks show. At one point they brought on a guy who they said was the drummer for a VH tribute band from Australia, Diver Down Under, I believe was the name of the band. Pretty good drummer too, he sat in on Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love. Ever hear of them?

The punks SInger is killer, but their guitar player is so-so, hell I can play a lot of those solos better than he can, but he has the tone down. The punks should hook up with Eruptions guitar player, then you'd have VH all over again.
