Also, people don't not get slammed for having a difference of opinion. It is when they cannot accept that others do not have to agree or give merit to those opinions.
As I have told you before, you don't have to take sides, and you are the only one who feels like you do. Asking people to feel the same way about the situation as you do is wrong. Having an opinion that is different from the mainstream is not a sure way to win a popularity contest. If you want to stand up for what you believe in, be prepared to have the masses repeatedly trying to knock you on your cute little french butt. So we ask ourselves. Is this worth fighting for? If the answer is no. Then why are you? If it is yes, then take your lumps.
