Of all the Hard Rock bands on the Planet, I had to pick VH as my favorite. I purchased my 1st VH album back in 1980. It was the Spring release of WACF. VH was always known for Spring and Summer tours and VH music always sounded great on hot Summer days. Well it's been 2o years since DLR era VH blasted through the Summer air waves. I understood that nothing stays the same and things change so I tried to give this Van Hagar thing a chance but it wasn't happening. Original VH was really what the doctor ordered because it was straight forward balls to the wall Rock And Roll. Van Hagar was Journey and Reo Speedwagon wrapped up in a giant candy wrapper. The fun was gone. And the hard edge had gone limp.
Well I moved on and just purchased the 1st six and left it at that. But I noticed other hard rock acts were beginning to release classic concert footage and boxsets including unreleased material. Led Zepplin,KISS and JUDAS PRIEST just to name a few. So I
