Are there any other avatar specs besides 100 x 100. Meaning if I find an av that's for example 95 x 110 does bytes come into effect? Or, because one dimension is larger than 100 it won't take?

I think it's more the dimension thing. If it' sbigger than 100, you wont' be able to load it -- I think. I know there's limits on file size for .gifs

I believe 100 is the max.
You can go smaller.
